Yellowish golden colour, mediumsized whitte head. Aroma is citrus fruits, mild spices as well as some resiny notes. Flavour is fruity, caramelly, mildly herbal as well as some slight earthy notes.
Cask in Dog & Duck. Colour is pale yellow. Nose is coriander, lemongrass, bit of curry, touch of meatiness. Taste is a light beer, but with lemongrass, coriander and curry notes. Hints of green curry. Not really working for me but interesting. anders37 (26605) - Malmö, SWEDEN - SEP 27, 2014
Cask @ Bricklayer’s Arms, Putney SW15. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity spicy ginger aroma. Fruity malty spicy ginger flavor with hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty spicy ginger finish. KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 21, 2011
On tap at Southampton Arms. Strong lemongrass flavour, pleasant blond beer base. But it is more flavour/perfume than beer. sm89walt (2065) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JAN 9, 2012
Cask (gravity) - The Bree Louise, Euston, London. Small & fading creamy white head on a clear golden yellow body. An earthy, lightly spicy gingery aroma at the fore. Quite a heady herbal & gingery citrus flavour profile with an OK pithy lemon bitterness in the finish. Light to medium body, soft & smooth mouthfeel, light & short finish. A quaffable & not overpowering ginger presence throughout but not generally of a style that scores big for me.

A Mes rate. Cask at the Southampton.wyzzywyz22 (2108) - Wirral, Merseyside, ENGLAND - MAY 23, 2012
Hazy yellow with a faint greenish tinge. Pleasant dusty hop snout with a good dose of lemon. What makes the aroma enjoyable is sadly the same thing that makes the flavour not so great. Lots of lemon and coconut, some spice and a little flat otherwise. Good bitterness in the finish but it’s not really enough to save it. Interesting and it certainly gets plus points for doing something different but it’s just not my thing.
Cask, Philarmonic, Liverpool. Diddley ? Selecta ? Pallid gold with a meek white head. Citrusy nose. Similar flavour with spice and lemongrass notes leading to some hop bitterness towards the finish. Seemed a bit thin overall. Unusual though, and top marks for trying to be different and all that but not really feeling this. Essex (51) - Cardiff, WALES - JAN 5, 2013
Served on cask, poured into a half pint glass in a pub in pontypridd.
Pours a clear golden colour with little head.
Smells quite fresh, oily and hoppy.
Tastes quite tangy and hoppy, very different, and i’m not sure i like it. Quite pale ale tasting, with odd twinges that must be the thai elements (lemongrass etc).
Overall not a bad beer, i think i’d like it better after trying it a couple more times. Nice on a hot summers day. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JUN 4, 2013
Cask conditioned handpump Lyric London 30/05/13. A yellow blonde beer with a white bubbly head. An oddity for sure. Coriander, lemongrass and a little heat. The spicing is OK but it just all seems a very unnecessary experiment of a beer. I’d rather drink a Belgian Wit which this is just about hinting at I reckon. rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUN 22, 2011
Cask at The Rake, London, England.
Clear golden colour with tiny frothy white head.
Sweetish lemongrassy and wheaty aroma.
Sweet citrus, malt and wheat in flavour.
Clear for a Wheat Ale.
