BeerViking (4989) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 23, 2013
Red-brown with a fine white head and a sweet malt nose with a hint of plum. Body is initially sweet, then drying with peppery hops overlaying the fruit notes. Touches of bread and roasty caramel. This is not a Munich Dunkel, it is a Franconian Braunbier.

Clear brown color, off-white head. Aroma is bread and roasted malt. Flavor starts sweet, then roasted malt, caramel bread and plum.

Botella de 50 cl. Color ambar.

Brought fresh from Germany by John Wright. Still it has a little cardboard taste hidden behind the plum. Tastes a little like a dubbel with German yeast. Ok. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Russo (2011) - Hemhofen, GERMANY - JUN 18, 2013
Clear brown color with a medium off-white head that keeps a lace until the end. Aroma is sweet and roasted malt, hints of bread. Flavor is sweet roasted malt with some toffee notes. Mouthfeel is a balanced sweet dry finish.

Shaney (2423) - Köln / Cologne, GERMANY - MAY 31, 2013
Klares Kastanienbraun mit weißem Schaum. Der Duft ist verhalten röstmalzig. Der Geschmack ist wiederum primär röstmalzig und toffeeartig. Könnte für meinen Geschmack an Röstmalz durchaus noch zulegen.

Ernest (7791) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 14, 2013
Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is light to medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, caramel, husks), with notes of bacon, dirt. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Very dirty, unpleasant.

Bottle @ Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. Pours cloudy amber with a small white head. Bread, grass, grain and caramel. Medium bodied. Clean - a bit bland perhaps.

Bottled 04/01/13. A dark dark brown coloured beer with an off-white pool of head. A smoky and roasty nose. Sweet fruity malty taste. A pretty good body. A nice dunkel which tastes fairly strong too. I liked this.

beersofeurope. Sweet malt aroma and flavour, with plenty of bready notes. Elements of metallic/cleaning materials lurk around plus some raspberry & cherry sherbert taste too, quite bizarrely. Standard brown appearance, could do with a bit more body.
