An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, but also a touch of brewmash. The flavor is quite dry with a strong hop presence on a malty background, that also contains notes of caramel. The end is dry and bitter. Simple.

Eher trockener, getreidig malziger Antrunk. Leider noch trockener werdend, geringe Würzigkeit, deutlich herb, nur wenig bitter. Monoton, erst im Nachgeschmack ein wenig intensiver. Unspannend. 9/7/8/9/8/7

Bottle at Zapfhahn Bamberg. brown reddish clear beer lasting beige head. some spicyness. really easy drinking. went with the sweetish burger I had well. like a rye spicy aroma. drinkable in the mouth. finish spicy and refined. almost cola like. I liked it. Odd but utterly drinkable.

We got to Drugendorf and I was so damn thirsty I stopped at the Kohlmann Brewery, not realizing it’s been closed for years and wasn’t the brewery I was looking for. Thankfully, they had beer from another country brewer, Ott. Ceramic mug. The aroma is toast, breadcrust. Dry, earthy, minerally, with light breadcrust notes.. Clean, basic dunkles. Very dry finish for the style.
