Not too shabby. A very drinkable red dunkel. Clear and pleasant and worth it.

Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - SEP 1, 2006
Draught. Brown coloured. Pea notes in the aroma. Sweet malty flavour. Light to medium bodied.

50 cl bottle. Beautiful brown color, purs with a nice head. Nice malty flavour, hints of roasted cereals. Rather sweet, but not too much. Not much hops here, they could have lifted this beer more.

hayduke (5619) - Eureka, California, USA - JUL 4, 2006
From bottle at airport hotel in Vienna. Poured a dark red-brown with a big tan head. Nose of fruti and roasted malts. Somewhat sweet. Decent mouthfeel. A pretty good example of its type.

(Bottle 50 cl) Chestnut brown with a distinct reddish hue and a creamy, beige head. Lovely roasted, sweetish, malty flavour - almost candy like. Limited bitterness. Very easygoing Dunkel. 170805

On tap at Bierhof, Vienna. Brown red beer with huge head. Sweet fruity Dunkel with a little roasted malt and biscuit notes. Pears and damsons but overall dissapointing.

Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - NOV 6, 2004
On tap. Nice deep amber/brown color. Aroma was nutty, malty and a hint of chocolate and hops in the background. Flavor was mostly dark malt- munich and caramel with some chocolate but backed up with a decent hop bitterness. Great slightly dry- crisp smooth finish.

Geiserich (4574) - Linz, AUSTRIA - AUG 31, 2004
Dark brown color, frothy off-white head, quickly diminishing. Malty aroma, with light roasted malt notes. Taste is medium sweet, sticky, notes of brown sugar. Light metallic, dry aftertaste with sweetness too. I don’t like this kind of beers, they are too sweet.

jbrus (4989) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - APR 28, 2004
Aroma is port, sweet dark malts and blackberries. Redish brown color, beige head, good lace. Sweet, light sour, light bitter, chocolat, malts, cherry, medium body. Nice, not exceptional.

jskendzel (602) - Washington DC, USA - MAR 20, 2004
At Brewery: Pours a deep hazelnut brown color with an off-white head. Very sweet, appealing flavor--as mentioned, brown sugar, caramel, but not overly sweet as to be offensive. My favorite from this brewery.
