0,5 l bottle, bought at a Billa, near Stiegl-Ambulanz.Rune (12741) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 7, 2007
Poured clear pale yellow, small white head. Grass leaded aroma with caramel and malt, some mild vanilla. Sweet malt flavor with a light caramel, vanilla and honey taste. Grassy hop in the finish. Well hidden alcohol.
500ml bottle picked up at a Spar Gourmet shop in Wien. Clear golden body topped by a thin ring of foam. Late grass to the nose. Taste of mild malty sweetness with hints of fruits. Smooth and medium palate. Considering the strength the alcohol is well masked (29.11.2007). yngwie (17049) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 27, 2007
On tap at the Berliner Bierfestival. Clear golden serving, with a small, white head. Sweet and malty nose with a little fruityness. The same goes for the flavor, but there’s a weak note of alcohol and some hops as well. Medium to full and a bit sticky mouthfeel. Quite nice, at least it was a welcomed change from all the pilsners. (Bottle BB 01/09/07) Hoppy, malty aroma with a hint of alcohol. Golden colour, clear and small, white head with fair lacing. Sweet, malty, slightly fruity, acidic and slightly grassy-hoppy flavour. Slightly alcoholic, softly carbonated and medium-bodied palate. Basic bock – nothing special! 17/05/07 MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 7, 2006
Bottle. Clear dark golden colour, no head. Malty flavour, a little bonbon. A bit boring for bock, not very flavourful.

Bottle, served at Ottakringer Helles Bock.
Clear golden coloured with a white head.
Aroma of malts, caramel, honey and fruits.
Flavour of malts, caramel, fruits and hops. Marko (5685) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - DEC 16, 2005
0.5l bottle courtesy of ozujsko (thanks!). A fancy looking bottle and label with a fancy looking cap. Hmm. Poured a honey-like golden colour with a big thick head that went away at a medium pace leaving tons of lacing. The nose was "deep malt", dust and some alcohol. Sweet taste, but not really pleasant. Some very good malt, but that’s overshadowed by the nasty interplay of hops and alcohol that tastes like something that would come out if some inept schnapps maker decided to make a hops schnapps. A low, persistent alcoholly bitterness that gets revolting too soon. Alcohol in the aftertaste. It seems that either they have problems with consistency or that this is a true love/hate beer. My first bock.... pity. I really wanted to like it. imdownthepub (14547) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 26, 2004

Intensiv malty and alcoholic aroma. Golden color, fine creamy head. Taste has a light fruity complex maltiness. Finish is salty and quite bitter. For me all in all still a hint to bitter.
