Bottle. Clear reddish brown colour with a medium tan head, nose is malty and roasty with notes of dark bread, chocolate toffee and coffee and slightly metallic hints, taste is sweet and roasty with a relatively dry finish.

Bottle at Eiles Cafe, Vienna. Served from the fridge so aroma and taste hard to distinguish. Dark and sweet with hints of caramel is all.

vipinvelp (4507) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - NOV 2, 2016
Clear dark brown, tanned lacing foam head. Sweet caramel aroma and taste. Bit too sweet for me. (Vienna 201611)

PowY (908) - AUSTRIA - AUG 14, 2016
From tap. Clear dark copper with a beige head. Aroma of bread and dough. Medium body with medium sweetness and light bitterness. Taste of molasse, coffee and some sour fruits (kiwi).

Malt and citrus in aroma
Roasted flavour
Citric finish
Fresh bitter finish

Refreshing as it has sharp sourness.

Grunf83 (16) - Belgrade, SERBIA - MAR 29, 2016

Optisch echt Spitze. Klares rotbraun, hoher voller Schaum. In Aroma Malziges Karamell und mittelschwere Röstaromen.Geschmacklich weich, süß, im Abgang dann Bitterschokolade die in Kaffee und Röstaromen vergeht. Toll

Cthulhu (1034) - MARSHALL ISLANDS - SEP 23, 2015
Dark brown with medium head.malt and basement or farm aromas.caramel ,sugar and sweet malt taste.light body with neutral finish, perhaps too sweet for a dunkles

luttonm (6562) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 14, 2015
Bottle at Vienna Airport. Deep coppery brown, creamy yellow-tan head. Sweet, mild caramel aroma. A bit buttery, similar warm, round feel. A little bitter chocolate at finish.

bartzluke (598) - Oklahoma, USA - JUN 7, 2015
UPDATED: JUL 18, 2015 .5l pour from slightly chilled bottle into a dimpled pint glass. Ruby in color, mostly transparent, fairly large off-white head. Light-to-medium body and quite dry. Nose is cereal with a hint of brown sugar. Taste is bready with a little bitterness on the end. Alright, but not too remarkable. I probably wouldn?t drink it again. Update: I drank it again, having forgotten I had tried it before. The rating this time around was even worse. .5l pour from refrigerated bottle into glass mug. Dark amber, moderately opaque, fizzy brown head. A bit of a flat taste; not enough flavor development. A boring sweetness with a tauntingly small hint of bitterness. Light body, a little grainy. Meh.
