From tap at Stadt Park Bräu. Pours hazy brown to red with a lacing and off-white head. Aroma is roasted malt, butterish and overripe fruity. Malty and overripe fruity. Caramelish and roasted malt. From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy brown with a small amber glare and a creamy, thick and slight tan head. Aroma is breadish and roasted malt. Toffee dry malt flavoured - towards bread. Subdued bitterness mixing in with the dark roasted malt. Ends with a mild fruity note to a dark malt base. Light bitterness coming through.

Draught, 5.2% at the brewpub. Cloudy dark red amber colour. Big stable tan head. The flavour is malty. Slightly roasted and slightly citric.

Draught at the Schweizerhaus, Prater, Vienna, where they called it "Rotes Zwickl." I am not really sure just what style of beer this is aiming for. It is reddish-brown in color, very cloudy. Has a rich, malty, fruity, and quite sour flavor that even resembles a Flemish ale slightly. It has a slightly sour, yeasty aroma as well. UPDATED: MAR 7, 2012 On tap in Vienna. Hazy reddish brown colour with a yellowish head. Parfumed nose. Light malty and a lot of fruity flavour.
