bottle @Charlie P,s Irish Pub in Vienna, Austria. Pours adarker red Iced tea color. Aroma is caramel malts with a light mustiness & sourness. Irish red like brew, malts are somewhat sweet with slight sour 7 mustiness taste, bready & doughy. Might be a little turned

Tap at Ottakringer shop. Hazy reddish amber colour. Very neutral in both aroma and taste. Almost tasteless. Basically a bitter water.

Humm, guessing this is it, as the Gösser Jubiläumsbier is refered to mostly as "Dunkles Zwickl". Draught at the 3 Goldenen Kugeln, Seiersberg, Graz as the "beer of the month". Anyway, poured a darker, completely murky red colour. Fruity malty nose, nothing too special. The taste is pretty much more of the same, full and kinda ruined by some kind of acidity and yeastiness. Slightly underwhelming, but still better than the average Austrian lager and it did well to douse the fires the lovely 3 Goldenen Kugeln Country Cordon left in my untrained mouth. I’ll probably rerate this at a point since I’m not 100% sure if I should even be rating it.

Comments: Draught at Hopfhaus in Wien. I was quite impressed to encounter such a (moderately) complex beer from Ottakringer. Fun caramelly maltiness blended with plums, grass, honey.. Sweet, yet drinkable. Earthy, dark and fun flavours.

Cloudy reddish brown with a head that looks like vanilla ice cream. Toasted malts with a slight sourness on the finish.

Shared at Ottakringer Shop by Cuso & Gurthnar, thanks. 0,2l from tap shared by 3. Amber hazy color, small off-white head. Strong smell of yeast and bread. Medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes of bread, yeast, malts. Finishes with bread and yeast. Decent enough, overall not too interesting..

22/01 Draught at the 3 Goldenen Kugeln, Graz. It had hazy reddish brown body with medium, slightly off white head. Weaker, sourish aroma, also peachy. Very slightly sweet caramel flavor, balanced with grass hops, but although pleasant it was quite watery. No matter of its thin body, awarded us with quite long, mostly hoppy finish, sourish to slightly bitter, with some caramel sweetness emerging at the very end. It’s definitely a Zwickl, not a Vienna, but I’m not too impressed after all.

Draft. Cloudy amber Body with White head. Aroma is grainy malts with floral notes. Taste is malty and some caramel with rich mouthfeel. Aftertaste is mostly malty sweet and not very much bitterness. Nice one.
