Finally I found I nice Ottakringer beer. Most others are boring but this one is quite ok. Light raisin aroma. Amber/orange colour, off-white frothy head, good lace. Light sweet, fruity with a very nice hop presence. Moderate full body. Geiserich (4544) - Linz, AUSTRIA - AUG 21, 2004

Amber color. Nice malty aroma. Sweetish taste, malty with roasted notes. Balanced herbal hop aftertaste. A good ottakringer.
Not a bad beer. Malty and fairly well balanced. Pretty good for an Austrian beer.

bottle, pours deep gold, light amber with a medium off white head. Aroma is carmel malt and sweet bread. Flavor is nice with bready malts and a little bit of smoke ending with a bitter biscuit malt and moderate hop bite.

Schnitt seems to be a half-and-half. I suppose it is their Dunkel “cut” (schnitt) with their Helles. Decent stuff. It is unpasteurized. It is a good mix, darker, maltier and fuller-bodied than a helles, yet not as sweet and heavy as their dunkel. A little strange, but a well-balanced, tasty beer. Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and nuts, as well as a light touch of butterscotch. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of butterscotch, lemon, and hops. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 4, 2004
