I had this in a countryside pub back in 2008. Memory is a little hazy, but this was one of my two favorites of the trip. Nice malt and earthy hops.

Amber coulered beer with off-white head. Aroma caramel. Taste sweet caramel with a bit of spice in the background.

Cask by gravity, in fine condition at Dolphin, shared with Finn. Warm golden-amber body, filmy layer, clingy lacing. Smell of pale and brown malts, citric hints. Malt-fruity flavours followed by a drying bitter twist. True to the style (Plymouth 22.09.2016).

Scopey (15725) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 26, 2016
Cask at The City Arms. It pours clear deep amber with a decent white head. The nose is bitter - sweet, caramel, brown bread and cereal. The taste is bitter, toasted brown bread, caramel, cereal, light spice and dull citrus with a firm, dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Decent enough bitter, but far from a game - changer.
