Drinking from bottle in cold ass lake placid. Aroma is hops, sweetness, grass, lots of citrus. Lots of hops in this one. Taste is sweet, super resin hops, my teeth hurt a tad, and this isnt super fresh... This is hoppier than the Heady I just drank, whoa. You wouldn’t know its 8.5% abv, but damn, hops could be cut back (I feel bad for saying it). Slipstream (2702) - USA - NOV 23, 2014
We went to the store to buy more Heady Topper, but it was gone, and this was in its place - so we got this. Dark gold pour with a thin head, and lots of lace on the glass. The taste is full-on hops, but with some sugary sweetness in the background. The taste of pine and green hops is good, but it lacks a little of the hoppy complexity that great IIPAs have. The aroma is a little odd - sweetly floral at first, but then there is a little vinegar and/or booze. There is a touch of boozy burn in the flavor also. It is good overall, but I was hoping for better. It reminded me of a couple of the batches of Dogfish Head 90 MInute IPA that I’ve had. alliance100 (1171) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - NOV 21, 2014

UPDATED: OCT 25, 2016 Update 2016: ugh, this was crap! bitter grapefruit and tons of floaties.
12 oz bottle bought from the Greeks in Narberth. Pours a light pale blonde. Fresh citrus aroma. Lots of sticky white head and some lacing. Mouthfeel is surprisingly light and crisp with only a touch of stickyness. Taste is lemony light hop citrus. Wow was this good. One of those really light and crisp double IPAs. Really hope they make this again.

Another winning IPA in one night? Small bottle split with the epic. Aroma of traditional grapefruit rind, pine resin, and sweet nectarine. Pours golden with a nice frothy head. Taste follows the nose with nectarine, orange zest, and bitter grapefruit juice and nice pine resin notes. Great sweet mouthfeel and lingering bitterness. This was stellar. Wish I had a case to share.

Bottle. Hazy orange. Big citrus aroma, mainly orange and tangerine. Huge bitterness, tart and sticky too. Bright, long finish. Really good. joet (2662) - Wilsonville, Oregon, USA - NOV 8, 2014
Deep golden lightly hazy, thin fine ivory foam, resinous, piney, dank, medium full aroma, very citrusy, finishing lightly bitter. Light caramels are out of place. Bits of biscuit that I don’t really care for. Detracts from the hop character. Light pepper. Very nice though. Doesn’t taste like an 8 pointer. rxeight (3248) - Illinois, USA - NOV 7, 2014
12 oz bottle. Thanks Paul. No bottle date, but based on the ratings its 5-6 weeks old. Pine and woodsy hop aroma. Taste is slightly bitter, citrus and spruce hops. Hops taste a touch old, but to be expected over a month. Pretty good stuff. biggsbowler (629) - Port St. Lucie, Florida, USA - NOV 1, 2014
Bottle - pour light amber w/ white frothy head. Piney, resin, spruce, and evergreen in the nose. grapefruit, orange, piney, and very bitter finish in the taste. It starts off very good, but the backend is too harsh to really enjoy. conway (2210) - - OCT 30, 2014
Draft. Hazy orange with a one finger off white head. Aroma and taste are tons of citrus with a very bitter finish. Medium sticky mouthfeel. Solid.
