A bit maltier than most IPA’s, which I like - it helps with balance and drinkability. Lots of citrus especially orange and grapefruit. Some spice flavors (coriander?). Medium bitterness. Very well-done.
Growler from Craft Beer Cellar - Waterbury. Solid and crushable IPA and a half. Hoppy aroma, light looks, good mouthfeel. punkska101 (2002) - Chambly, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 27, 2016
Bottle thx Alex and Guillaume I guess I owe you a little something, more on this later on. A: grapefruit, citrusy, oranges. App: clear copper both ton of sediment even if poured carefully, sparing white head. T/p: med body with long bitter finish. Soft to moderate carbonation. O: Even though the hops chosen gave an old school feel to the brew it’s really well done. Sometimes, it feels good to go back to it classics. Citrusy aromas, very orange, tangerine, subtle pine resin. Clear orange with a mostly lasting white head. Pretty dry, juicy, pretty well balanced. Medium bodied. jsnicholas (613) - Woodinville, Washington, USA - OCT 12, 2016
Bottle: (12oz $3.75). Organ gel color with thin head. Nice floral aroma. Malt heavy with strong pine taste, but with citrus too. Nice solidfunk (8838) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - OCT 5, 2016
Heavy stuff here. Heavy good stuff. Pineapple and mango with lots of grapefruit peel. Amber pour with ok head and lacing. Very bitter finish. Tap at Churchkey.

12 ounces bottle shared with brother, thanks for the share. Aroma: intense grapefruits, caramel, bread. App: clear copper, small white head, nice lacing. Taste and palate: medium body, light sweetness, high lingering bitter finish. Overall: so old style ipa. Too malted, way too bitter. It’s even unpleasant. A bit disappointed by this beer. Not enough fruity. An IPA that would have been really good 8-9 years ago. thepatrickman (1307) - Durham, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 17, 2016
From the bottle (and from notes from last October). A great collaboration that’s led to a seriously impressive DIPA. There’s a fantastic balance between a hop bitterness and a orange juice hop aroma that makes the beer rise head-and-shoulders above the average DIPA on the shelf. Quality stuff. koleminer20 (3468) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JAN 10, 2016
12 oz bottle shared with ebone1988. Got this on a trade from some time ago. The pour is a darker ruby color with a light gold tint and a thin cap of white head that falls to a collar, leaving a couple pieces of lace. The aroma is surprisingly juicy. There is a lot of citrus juice and a light hop presence. There is also a light malt on the back end. It's got a little toastiness on the finish, which is a little weird. The flavor is an absolute malt bomb. There is a weird sweetness that comes through there is a touch of juiciness that shows up at first, but it's just a malt bomb. The bitterness is resounding and it's just malt based. The mouth feel is excellent. The carbonation is spot on. The aftertaste is incredibly bitter and malt dominated.

Bottle shared with koleminer20. Aroma is juicy, lots of tropical fruit, slight pine, slight malt, very nice. Appearance is amber, opaque, off white head. Taste is malty as fuck, some tropical fruit but mostly pine and malt. Mouthfeel is medium body and crisp carbonation, a very bitter malt aftertaste. Overall, this is awfully disappointing for the expectations. SG111 (1762) - New York, USA - DEC 19, 2015
Tap at Station Room, attached to Mt Snow, Vermont. Pours honey color, creamy white head, nice lacing persists. Aroma is pineapple, mango, orange, slight pine. Flavor is redankulous. Lots of pine, resin, some citrus. Big big NE hop bitterness finish. Solid. So much more bitter than sip of sunshine but I guess this is a collab anyway. None of that residual sweetness you get from some DIPA.
