I really enjoyed this beer. Poured a slightly hazy, light brown/amber color with an orange tint. No head. Nice fruity, hoppy, alcohol aroma. Some good spiced scents too. Very well balanced. Very hoppy flavor at first which fades away. Tangy, malty taste. Smooth. Weak finish. Very good brew. GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 28, 2005
Bottle from Premier - thanks, rudolf. Red-copper colour with a small head. Aroma is like a less potent barley wine - lots of caramelly malt and juicy hops. Flavour is pleasantly sweet, with caramel and brown sugar, and a citric hop finish. A very well-made & tasty brew. Immy (1958) - Virginia Beach, USA - JUN 7, 2006
12 oz bottle, lot #1817, bottled on 11/17/05. Pours an orangeish copper color, small off white head. Nice spiderweb lace. Nose is orange and grapefruit, some sweet malt. Pleasing mouthfeel, full but not heavy. Slightly sweet malt and caramel flavors, a touch of spiciness. Finish is mildly bitter, slightly spiced. Really well balanced, pretty good amber. 12oz bottle bottled 10/05/05 - Poured a dirty amber color with a short offwhite head. Nose is quite hoppy with grapefruit and some orange peel, but underneath it is some very sweet caramel and roasted malts. Palate is medium bodied and carbonated just enough to give it a pretty nice mouthfeel. Not bad.. Definitely better than I expected. thehinge (297) - Nederland, Colorado, USA - DEC 18, 2006
Lively honey colored pour. Small head with very little lacing. Grassy aroma.
Smooth wheaty, hoppy flavor. I would it again.

Deep orange amber hue. Sweet malt nose. Small, sticky beige head. Caramel, biscuity malts, light to medium bodied, finishing wih hops! Wow, this is better than I would expect from these guys. Sticky resinous hops, floral and refreshing. Not too shabby from the guys in Middlebury... VAYankee (353) - Virginia, USA - NOV 21, 2003
Bottled 11/4/03. Dark amber coloring with a small beige head. Aroma is of malt accented by hops. Exhibits a mild smooth malt flavor accompanied by a mild floral hoppiness. The hops bitterness briefly increases then fades away leaving a dry, light malt aftertaste. guzzler67 (1696) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - DEC 4, 2003
Clear copper appearance with a small head and moderate lacing. Spicy, toasted malt aroma. Pepper spice taste with a somewhat sweet, medium-bodied flavor. Finishes dry. freekyp (2470) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - DEC 19, 2003
Reddish amber with small rocky white head. Flavor is spicy with smoked caramel undertone. Bitterness rises in finish. pivo (2689) - GERMANY - JAN 10, 2004
Nice start with a sweet fruity nose, deep amber color, and an attractive head. Cracker-like maltiness with some apricot fruitiness. Medium body. A good party beer. Not too heavy. They could have diverged a little from the typical ale canon as Otter Creek often does.
