Otter Creek Citra Mantra holds up well but suffers from a bit of name misnomer. Bright yellow pour with a frothy white head that holds up well. Aroma is fresh and mild tropical and pine. The taste is big on pine -- really like an IPA -- with a bit if tropical fruit in the background. I’ve come to expect beers with Citra (as in Citra hops) in the name to have prominent tropical notes. The pine is really out there, though, and not really balanced either. Not real sure where it comes from either since they claim single hop. Citra Mantra is not a bad brew in its own right, but not the light lager made with Citra you might expect. jgb9348 (6433) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAY 23, 2016
Clear golden coloured body with the slightest bit of haze and a nice, thinnish two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of very nice and fragrant tropical fruit and citrus hops with a smooth but noticeable malt essence. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal flavour at first with a good kick of the hops, but shows some malt elements, a touch of effervescence from the yeast and a good complex herbal and spice characteristic at the end. Aftertaste is nice and complex, especially for a lager, with some very fresh hop notes throughout. Overall, a nice and subdued beer that still shows a lot of flavour and especially complexity, for a lager. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Wegman’s in Alexandria, Virginia on 03-May-2016 for US$1,67 sampled at home in Washington on 18-May-2016. commonshawn (1311) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 23, 2016
Tap at brewery with commonmac and rosskyle and samadouche. Hazy gold orange with thick white head. Clean citrus nose, smells nice. Bitter, then citrus funk bite. Short finish. Refreshing and pretty good. rjplumer (1149) - Foxboro, Massachusetts, USA - APR 10, 2016
Crisp citrus pine aroma. Golden body with a light haze and two fingered white head. Bitter start but ends with a mild lemon tart sweetness. Has a mild bread character that smooths it out. MattShizzle (617) - Bernville, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 7, 2016
Bottle - from sampler pack. Light golden, mostly clear. Clean, hoppy aroma. Quite hoppy and bitter. Good.

Light haze on a corn yellow body. Head is frothy white. Great hop up front nicely balanced with a little wheat, some cracker, and a touch of sweetness. Dry but not overly. Yum. trapped (3483) - New York, TURKEY - MAR 9, 2016
Draught @ Madison Grill - Hoboken. Hazy bright orange with very small frothy white head, citrus peel aroma, low carbonation, crisp hoppy taste, long bitter finish. Very nice, IPA like brew. Homer321 (5166) - Melboring, Florida, USA - MAR 4, 2016
Bottle to glass. Holy dankiness upon smelling. Light citrus. Catty. Great aroma. Pour is clear, pale yellow in color, medium to large white head, Rocky. Taste is like a German pils with cattiness and a touch astringent. This dang things drinks pretty grate. Reminds me a lot of victory prima pils but just a great citra hop presence. The hop bitterness gets to be wearing by the end though. Just a touch too much hop bitterness makes it on the verge of astringent. Otherwise it’s a great beer bavarian81 (157) - Massachusetts, USA - FEB 27, 2016
Poured a bright gold with lots of carbonation. Aroma was mostly floral, piny hops and some citrus. Taste is mostly bitter hoppiness that lingers on the tongue balanced by some subtle fruity sweetness.
