COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pils Lager
Our spring seasonal offering brewed with 100 percent positive vibrations and single-hopped with Citra hops. The presence of the Citra hop is elevated by a clean fermenting lager yeast that allows the subtle Pilsner, Munich and Vienna malts to lay a crisp, bready foundation. The citrus and tropical fruit character of the Citra hop comes from kettle additions followed by a huge dose of ‘em again in the fermenter.

Pours a cloudy gold. Big white head that lasted till end and formed a volcano shaped formation on top and had ok lace. Aroma was grapefruit. Taste was grapefruit, malt and pine resins. Finish was pine. A okay beer, I think it would have been better in the heat of summer.

Bottles on clearance in Fl. Strong orange aroma. Light bitterness but lingers. Hoppy. Light colored, doesn’t look like much and to me, didn’t really stand out taste wise either.

I kinda like the unfiltered citrus grapefruit thing going on, but something was a bit odd. Nice aroma, crisp body and aftertaste.

This was my first IPL, so I can’t compare it to others, but I wasn’t feeling it. Pours a cloudy gold color. I like the appearance of the unfiltered beers like this one. Aroma was an odd smell to me. I could sense some grapefruit in there. Pine taste. Anyone else kind of this it was a bit sour and kind of pungent and skunky? It was bottled end of January, could it have been bad already?

Draft at Ginger Man with Andrew, Brendan and Ricky. Thank christ Andrew let me try his because this would’ve been difficult to finish on my own. Pours a nice orange amber body with thick white head and medium lacing. Aroma is grain, ash and light skunky malts. Mouthfeel is not horrible - nice on the palate actually, but the flavors coming through are tough to take; notes of grain, bitter grapefruit, skunky hop, sweet crackery malts and light ashy character.

At holly wood gardens, nice place. Except for the aroma, this comes across more like an IPA than a lager. Looks like a pale lager tho.

If you drank the piss straight from the cat it would taste and smell just like this. +++ Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a vibrant yellow-golden color with a small foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was very strong cat piss, pine and more cat piss. The flavor was very strong cat piss, pine, pepper and more cat piss. Long cat piss finish. medium body. Amazingly foul!
