Clear amber color. Aroma consists malt, with honey, hops, and a little citrus in the undertones. Taste is mostly of malts. There are a little bit of hops and citrus in the back end. Has a nice and smooth aftertaste. Not too bad of a brew. I’d consider this more of a session beer. jeremytoni (3058) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - SEP 9, 2009
From a bottle poured brown with a small head. Malty sweet flavor with a quick finish. ScottyP (425) - Brentwood, Tennessee, USA - AUG 2, 2009
Pours a slightly hazy golden with off white head. Aroma of malt, hop, dark fruit, yeast caramel. Similar taste. Medium bodied. Beerona97 (2399) - Washington, USA - AUG 2, 2009
Hazy orange, foamy white head fades. Aroma is honey, strawberry and other sweet berries. Taste is honey and berries again with some roast. Pretty sweet, wouldn’t drink a ton but not bad. Butters (4059) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - AUG 2, 2009
Bomber from Barrios’ Massechussetts Trip Tasting. Sweet honey aroma and flavor. Good for the style, but I just don’t like this style I think.
Barrios (1243) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 2, 2009
Pours a ring of off-white head and a slightly hazy pale copper body. Flavor is caramel, biscuit, and some dried fruit. Similar aromas. Oakes (17676) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 20, 2008
Golden-amber. Malty-caramel nose with notes reminiscent of glossette raisins. Caramel taste, some bready notes. Hop dryness towards the finish. Thin body. Lacks focus. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 18, 2008
Bright golden copper with slight haze. Good white head that lasts. Rusty, chalky. Some fruit, some sweet cereal. Oily mouthfeel. Sweet metallic. Sulfuric, strange and strong. Not bad, not good. Radek Kliber (7359) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - SEP 4, 2008
Bottle 650 ml blipp (9268) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUL 7, 2008
Appearance: Slightly hazed amber bock with bright white , off-creamy head. 3+
Nose: Mineral hop feel with off fruity malts . Stylistically ok but felt a bit empty an generic.
Flavor/Palate : Medium light bodied. A bit shallow with its malt character. Slight bitter hop accents. Closer to Polish Mocne than to German bocks.
Bottle. Pours orange with an off white head. Sweet malt aroma with caramel and toast. Medium, smooth body. Flavor is a little dull, but sweet, with toasty and herbal notes. Not bad, very drinkable.
