COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A big american pale ale overgrown with all the american hops we could dig up. Dripping with dank, American hop flavors and aromas, Overgrown is balanced by a subtle, sweet malt backbone that takes a back seat to the bountiful hop additions. A celebration of the hop-growing season, this one will tangle up your taste buds.

12-ounce bottle pours a slightly hazy orange with a white foamy head that dissipates in minutes, leaving behind some lacing. Aroma is candied oranges, caramelized onions and fresh-cut damp grass – but it’s certainly a sweet smell. The taste is hop-forward, with flavors of grapefruit, orange, pine needles, hay and bread. Medium, creamy mouthfeel with dry finish, making it a good sipper but a poor chugger.

Bottle from Total Wine, Gainesville. Pours golden with a white head. Heavy pot aroma, some citrus and skunk, but mostly pot. Flavor is pot, pine, not-so-bitter, but not sweet grapefruit peel. Light malt. Nicely balanced. Hints of orange in there as well. Quite good, actually.

Draft. Hazy copper color, big head, persistent and dense lace. Huge aroma of grapefruit oil. Flavors of sticky grapefruit peel, orange, and lots of bitter-ish butterscotch. Can’t say I’ve ever been much of an Otter Creek fan, but this is plainly world-class.

FROTHINGSLOSH (8164) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 13, 2016
Sampled on draft at the Rivertowne Pub this beer poured a honey-caramel color with a medium sized fluffy orange-white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was sweet with table sugar and pine. The flavor was bitter pine, fruity hops, medicine and caramel. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Meh.

On tap at brewery. Pours pale amber with a small white head. Sickly sweet aroma of citrus and floral hops with some malt. Mild initial floral hop taste grows into too sweet citrus and light breadiness. Finish is bitter with a lingering sweetness. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Mouthfeel is pillowy.

Hazy deep golden pour with thin, clingy white top. Smells of citrus, floral, and some malt - very nice. Flavor follows closely with just the right burst of bitterness hitting midsip after a mildly malty start. Finishes somewhat dry and bitter. Nice.

On tap at Brunzies. Piney dank herbal hops with spicy notes. Mild malt sweetness. Pale golden amber with light haze and thin white head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts moderately dry with tons of hopeople flavor, dank and piney and herbal. Mild bitter finish with nice mild bitter after.
