3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Amber good head and retention. C-hopped but not overwhelmingly citrusy, resiny, and without tons of crystal malt. Mild i nthe English style but with PNW hops.
"a crisp and clean beer, but one that lacked character in a recent apa tasting. average at best, but not something I’d turn down...or buy again. fairly thin."

This was a light and refreshing brew. A hint of a citrus finish and to the overall dry taste. Loses a few points for low alcohol, but still a tasty beer. Vballnbeer (158) - Gorham, Maine, USA - JUL 6, 2013
This pale ale is pretty good and uses my favorite hops from the northwest, but they could ramp it up a little. Like the northwest, the northeast is full of hop heads, but this beer seems to have been made to appeal more to tourists and college students at Middlebury. Has potential, but not there. Golden pour with medium sized head. Strong carbonation. Strong pine and pretty one dimensional pale ale. One of my first craft beers back in college. Mediocre at best. tbopslt (354) - New York, USA - FEB 22, 2013
Pours a a cloudy light copper color slightly cloudy. Half inch head dissipated quickly. Good lacing and carbonation though. Pleasant Floral aroma but not overpowering. Slightly bitter at first but mellows. Smooth mouth-feel. Leaves a bit more of an aftertaste (almost metallic) for my liking. Not a bad beer at all. Would probably pair excellently with the typical bar food, wings, etc...

Bottle clear golden color, thick white head. Aroma of subtle paint thinner. Taste is bitter straw. mikemccarthy (94) - Huntington, West Virginia, USA - JUN 24, 2012
Pours a clear, dark copper with visible carbonation and a frothy, white head that stays with decent lacing. A bold, spicy, tantalizing aroma. Full and lightly effervescent mouthfeel. Taste is a bit flatter than the aroma suggests. Slightly sour finish.

355ml bottle pours a pale golden orange color with a finger of white head that retains decently and settles to a thin spotty lacing. Aroma is pleasing with some cereal grains and mild citrus and grassy hops. Taste is loaded with citrus and grassy hop bitterness balanced nicely with some light malty sweetness. Quite a refreshing and easy to drink pale ale that I would sample again if given the opportunity. shonobiwan (219) - Sound Beach, New York, USA - APR 3, 2012
Long Island, NY - 12 oz. bottle poured a hazy golden color. This is a run of the mill Pale Ale. It was good for what it's worth.

On draft, poured a golden coper color, aromas of grass, pine, kiss of citrus, and some malt. Flavor is much the same, nothing too special.
