We burned the rulebooks, and when the smoke cleared we created this counter-culture interpretation of a California Common that’s dosed with juicy hop flavors.

Pours clear golden with heavy head. Aroma is citrus and hops. Taste is bitter grapefruit, warming to a lemon flavor and a hoppy finish. Not my style, but I can see how IPA fans might appreciate.

Part of their mixed bag variety pack in Vermont for Easter 2017. Pour a very slight hazed golden colour with a warm cap with creamy lacing. Very IPA kind of noise with fresh citrusy-grassy hops. The taste has some sweetness and grain of a California Common, but the hops come in strongly in the finish. Some nice citrus notes, but really seems like an IPA. Only hints of the grain instead of the caramel malts.

Got this on sale, decent ABV at 6%. Too bitter for me. Average. Giving away the rest.

Ehh… Pretty unimpressive. Almost like a bland parallel with a little heavier by barely there ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Purchased in a variety pack. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this one as I wasn’t terribly familiar with the style apart from Anchor Steam. I found this to be a mild but tasty and extremely drinkable option. It has a very faint but pleasant aroma and pours a standard lager yellowy/amber. The taste is similar to Anchor Steam with some smooth malty mouthfeel but a little more of a hoppy tang. It goes down easy and disappears quickly. This would be a good session beer for a hot summer day or for when you want something that isn’t too challenging but that is still a step up from a mass market pale lager water beer.

Pretty pour but everything else falls short! Very nice light copper pour w/ a big white head & excellent lacing. The aroma is primarily malt w/ a hint of hops. The tate contains some citrus notes initially but finshes rather harshly & slightly off putting. It is different but not in a good way!

Draft. Nice aroma of cereal, mostly corn, and a hint of fruit. Flavors are of cereal, fruit juice (orange? barely?) and a bit of banana. Light, drinkable, and a neat twist on a too-rare style. Could drink this for days.

15 pack at the pricechopper...and for a reasonable price as well...what a deal. A common lager. Decent hop background tone. Some light citrus peel in the nose. Decent malt body. Easily quaffable , proved by the fact that I had four of them thru-out the evening. Decent, but could be overlooked. The weed sale points of popular culture are attempting to boost this average lager to above average status.

Canned. Another one of them damned weed beers. Enjoyable enough but nothing spectacular.
