Bottle. Pours a golden pale body with a rocky white head. Sweet malty body, grassy hoppiness with a light lemon and metallic flavor. Not so good. SSSteve (4006) - - JAN 17, 2009
slighty hazy gold under a fluffy white head. nice crisp lemony hoppy aroma. the lemony hops carry through into the flavor. light, crisp, refreshing. everything a good lager should be. very impressed! halfonit (1364) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 16, 2008
It has a faint hoppy smell to it and your average golden color.
Has a little hoppyness in the flavor but also a bitterness to go with it.
After taste leaves a bitter, almost like a lead flavor, in the mouth.
Overall it’s not a bad beer but I don’t think that I’ll end up buying this one again. DrDavid (957) - Johnson, Vermont, USA - JUL 21, 2008
From bottle. Disappointing offering. Watery, uninteresting, slightly sour. No finish. Not one to repeat. Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 5, 2008
A simplistic and inoffensive pale lager
kimcgolf (872) - Dacula, Georgia, USA - JAN 26, 2008
Clean flavour profile. Soft herbal hoppiness.
Rather dull grainy malt lineage. The key to this type of beer is to expose the taster to a trove of freshness and this is not quite managed here although no signs of age are noticeable either. Quick-finished.
Not much better than a BMC lager here. Poured to a golden yellow with medium-thick white head that dissipated quickly and left little lacing. Aroma was grainy with little else to offer, and the flavor was no better.
Not even a good session beer. Not much good to say about this one. Pwn3d (1962) - Manhattan, New York, USA - JAN 10, 2008
Had an Altbier from Otter before this and I was pleased with it. Unfortunately, I cant say the same thing about this one. Offensive and the hops are a bit off. This is not properly classified/ jredmond (8283) - New York, New York, USA - JAN 9, 2008
A premium lager???? No way. This beer had a small aroma (maybe some hops). The body was clear orange-yellow. The taste was ’nasty ass.’ glaze0101 (79) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 13, 2007
My least favorite of the Otter Creek beers. Great for getting drunk though. davidoc (113) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 5, 2007
Not a tremendously distinctive experience. Medium yellow/brown in color; average taste.
