Bottle. Lightish amber body, minimal carbonation, what head manifests contains large, loose bubbles and does not last long. Malty nose with a hint of the Fuggles. Thin body, smooth, quaffable, mild bitterness, some Fuggles notes. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - SEP 4, 2007

Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is wooden, caramelly and earthy. Flavour is quite the same with some spices conifer wood and some juniper.
Dark amber with a copper-red hue and a nice head. The aroma is malty, the flavour is malty with notes of caramel, burnt candy sugar, raisin, fruit and nuts. The finish has a citrus bitterness and is quite dry and long. It’s a nice winter ale! harrisoni (18573) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 18, 2007
Cask gravity at GBBF 2007. Chestnut colour with thin beige head. Some choc on aroma, bit syrupy in mouth. It’s fine, got some good grain and malt, nice strength to it. Bit too sweet maybe. RoyceH (1199) - Hesperange, LUXEMBOURG - AUG 14, 2007
Cask, GBBF 07. Dark chestnut, creamy head. Nose is some floral hops, something not too pleasant. Mouth is some fruity sweet malt, some caramel malt. Bit over-sweet and dark fruity.

Bottle: Poured a red-orange shininess with barely a head. The aroma is a musty fruit, the flavor leaning more to a very sweet malt and a mushy earthy finish. The body is lighter than the muddy flavor profile would suggest. , but this is a hearty and flavorful English ale. (#3048, 8/3/2007) Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - JUL 31, 2007
bottle. Copper colour, creamy head. Quite hoppy, pleasantly bitter, rounded by malt. Full-bodied. Hints of orange zest, actually the orange flavour reminds me of typical English orange marmelade. HogcliffeLenny (162) - Christchurch, Dorset, ENGLAND - JUL 22, 2007
Bottle 500ml. Pours a copper brown with a rich off-white head. Sweet aromas of caramel and dark fruits. Wonderful malts come through in the caramel, molasses and black cherry flavours. Full on flavours, nothing subtle about them. Hops kicking in on the finish for a good bitterness. Fairly full-bodied with light to medium carbonation. gunnfryd (14869) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 21, 2007
Bottle. Brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, hop, malt. flavour is caramel, hop, malt. Ok beer. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - JUL 18, 2007
This bitter/ESB pours a deep brown color from a 500ml bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel, orange and sweet. A medium bodied ESB. Malts are toffee and caramel. Hops are earthy and floral. Hints of orange and citrus. Nice balance. Lively carbonation. Nice soft malts with a touch of chocolate. Seems a step above a lot of other ESB/bitters I’ve had lately. Mouthfeel is full. Finish si clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
