hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 17, 2010
Cask at Pilgrims Progress (JDW), Bedford, in Spoons Real Ale Festival ’10. Brown, just off white head. Cocoa aroma. Rather odd citric taste, and that’s just about it. Acceptable, without being particularly exciting.

downender (8928) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - APR 17, 2010
Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol 17/04/10. Dark brown in colour with hints of red and a decent tan head. Gentle aroma of caramel, damsons and dark chocolate. Flavour was sweet, with plenty more caramel, raisins, cocoa and a lingering, dry finish. Great stuff.

BeerViking (5079) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 16, 2010
Cask at JDW Hounslow beer festival. Dark brown with a lacy beige head, chocolate on the nose with notes of nuts and hops, then full bodied and rich for a beer of this ABV. It’s dry-malty and creamy, with hints of dates and sultanas, and a dry finish. Very good.
