tombyars (1790) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - JUL 16, 2014
Tasted this in the Salt Cot, Saltcoats (JDW) on 11th June 2014. Cask, handpump dispense. Pale orange amber in colour with a thin white head. Just a hint of green apple in the weak malty nose, very short in intensity. Very thin mouthfeel and ok lacing. Thin pale malt gives a slight digestive biscuit base with a citrus orange peel note making a quick presence in the mouth. Again citrusy notes present in the hoppy aftertaste but again like the malt the flavour is very weak. Malt just about edges it in the watery finish but totally lacking in complexity and depth of flavour though. BeerandBlues2 (14018) - Escondido, California, USA - MAY 29, 2014

Cask at the Knights Templar, London, 22/04/13.
Clear light golden with a good sized white head that retains well. Excellent lacing ensues.
Nose is pale malts, tangerines, light sugars, grass.
Taste comprises pale malts, slightly artificial orange (but not OTT artificial), grass.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bitterness in the finish tempered with a background orange flavour.
Ok drinkable stuff - did what it said on the tin but I wouldn’t want more than one of these in a session - a little over sweet. downender (9008) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2013
On gravity at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol April 2013. Deep amber with a slight, off-white head. Citrus hops, marmalade sweetness, a hint of biscuity malts and a moderately bitter finish. A bit one dimensional, but fine.
