Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a semi-hazy copper/amber color with a little white head that swiftly dissipated. No lace. The aroma had sweet apricots up front, light grassy hops at the end, not much else. The flavor was the sweet apricots with a sweet apricot aftertaste and finish. The feel was light bodied with a decent carbonation and ABV. Overall, I think I got enough words in for this so called review, but I didn’t get any wheat. Decent for what Otto’s wanted to do. But I will have to disagree and say this is more of Spring/Summer beer, I wouldn’t want this in the dead of Winter. I’ll stick to my big stouts in the Winter.

Aroma and taste is very much apricot. Unfortunately, that’s not a taste I enjoy.

Draft at Zeno’s. Poured a hazy yellow with off-white head. Aroma was strong on apricot. Fruit notes, hazy sweet malt notes.

Nice light wheat malt body with a sweet backbone and dry finish. Crisp apple and citrus notes and definite apricot feeling overall.

12oz bottle pours a clear orange with some cloudy, white head. Nose has tons of apricots, tons of orange, a lot of bubblegum too. Flavor is sweet and then just tons of fruit, apricots, peaches, canned fruit. Clean finish.

Apricot aroma. Hazy amber, thin head. Apricot dominated flavor. Light body. Tasty, but singularly fruited. Should be re-classed as a fruit beer.

Transfer from BA - Poured from bomber into pint glass. Appearance - Pours a light golden-orange color with a white head that faded rapidly giving very little lacing. Smell - For the lightness of the beer, the odor is superb. Massive amount of fresh apricot and some peach. There is a little bit of sugar and wheat which work their way at the end of the odor experience. Taste - After the smell, I was expecting much more, but was disappointed. The apricot does come on in the beginning, but it is much weaker then anticipated. A small amount of wheat works its way into the taste profile near after a bit of apricot fades from the tongue. It was furthermore much dryer then the smell would lead on; not what I expected. Mouthfeel - The carbonation level was quite nice, but the body was a bit thin. Overall - The smell of the brew sorta threw me off. A bit more "syrupiness" from more sugar and a bit more alcohol would have helped the beer meet its fantastic smell profile. An occasional drinker, nothing more.

The beer pours average as it has a clear golden straw color, a mild white head and no lacing on the glass. The beers nose is average andas has an apparent mild apricot followed by a mild wheat smell. The beer taste is average as it has a mild bitter apricot taste and some wheat but not much else. The mouthfeel is mediocre as the beer was carbonated okay but doesn’t do much else for mouthfeel. Overall, a weak offering from Ottos where they have more hits then misses...this is a miss.
