Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – Served a golden color with a light one finger head that dissipated quite fast to leave little to no lacing.
Smell – The smell is quite light but is mainly of a bready and spicy saaz aroma with the lightest bit of lemon smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a biscuit malt and bready flavor. These create a base and are present throughout the taste. In the middle a very light sweetness comes to the tongue; mainly of a light honey like flavor. This sweet flavor is accompanied by a spicy hoppy flavor with some herbal characteristics. The sweet flavors in the end are lost however with the intensifying of the spicy hop flavors along with some more light bitter flavors of a lemon nature come to the taste and lingered on the tongue long after the beer is gone from the mouth.
Mouthfeel – The body is on the medium to thin side with the carbonation level average. The body and the carbonation suit the beer well complementing the lighter flavors and bitterness of the end of the taste making this beer very drinkable and session like.
Overall – An easy drinking brew but in most ways a standard lager. It does however have a nice bitter and hop flavor at the end which was quite nice and gave a nice dimension not present in the standard lager. SudsMcDuff (8462) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - AUG 31, 2012

On tap at brewpub. Color is gold with half inch white head. Aroma is hay. Flavor is straw. Nice pilsener. JoeMcPhee (9456) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 24, 2010
Pale golden-straw colour. The nose is quite hoppy. Lots of zesty saaz/tettnang on the nose with a touch of light flinty/minerally bitterness. Herbal fading to a nice clean straw-like pilsner malt finish. Very zesty and spicy with some soft lemon citrus. Firm bitterness. Really damn nice.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear light yellow with a white head. Aroma of straw, cardboardy/starchy malt. Flavor of bready, cardboard malt with a fair amount of carbonation. This one is pretty bland and I didn’t much care for it.

Tap @ Otto’s - I love when a brewpub gets a lager right. Arouma is fresh grass, hay, floral and piney spruce. Caramel malts, dry cracker feels with some grainy notes and a touch of citrusy hops. Grapefruit with some salty/mineral notes that sit on the tongue and dry finish. j12601 (12979) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUL 29, 2010
On tap at Otto’s on our way to RBSG. Pours a clear straw yellow. Crips and light, crackers and grain. Light sweetness, bitter and grainy. A little thin. Clean grain finish with some quinine bitterness. puzzl (3260) - New York, New York, USA - JUL 19, 2010
Tap at the brewery. Nice spicy saaz here, raw barley, lemon cleaner. Nice and dry. Biting, raw flavor, slightly solventy, minerals, good finishing bitterness. A decent effort. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 28, 2009
Draft pint, at brewery. Pours a pale gold body with a small white head that left some thick heavy lacing. Lingering wispy film for the duration. Doughy and bready pils malt with a bit of fluffy yeast on the nose, just s bit of Saaz. The flavor is very doughy and bready with a little bit of a sulfur note. Light floral hops. Medium bodied, a little clingy and sticky, with moderate fizzy carbonation. This was decent, but can’t really get too into it.
