Pours a dark ruby red. Aroma of cherry, malt and leather. Taste is malty then nutty with an earthy peppery bitterness that cuts through the sweet. Very well balanced.

22 oz bottle. Pours amber with short lived white head and soda-like carbonation. Aroma is of noble hops, caramel malt and cherry. Body is medium and slightly crisp. Nice cooper color. A red ale that is quaffable at 5%. It is described all the fun without and. We had to ask-acid mine drainage.

An average amber ale. Got this dusty bottle from House of 1000 Beers so it’s possible this bottle was far from fresh. Aroma was decent. Ginger, grass and caramel. Pour was a nice light brown/red with a thin off white ring for a head. Taste was a little thin. This tasted like a macro-attempt at the style (Pete’s Wicked Red, etc). Not bad and very drinkable, just not very full or big. Roasted malt and burnt caramel are present, but very weak. Very unoffensive and would do well as a stepping stone beer. on tap-pours a light tan head and copper color. Aroma is medium malt-roasty/caramel. Taste is sweet medium malt-roasty/caramel, secondary pine hops.
