Pours a dark amber color with tan head. Citrus hops upfront followed by a smooth bitter back taste. Decent ipa jsmerig (1578) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 26, 2013
Pours a reddish amber with an off- white head. Aroma of citrus and caramel. Taste is malty with a little nutty flavor. Offset with a lightly citrus hop bite. Mellow for an IPA. But good.

The slab cabin pours amber clear with a weak head that hugs my glass. As for aroma it is of carmel malts, citrus hops, a slight spice, and a pine like hop scent. I could taste sweet malts, mild bitterness from the hops, and citrus. The finish is pleasant. The bitterness doesn’t take away from the flavor of the beverage. My palate was not hit hard but it does impact it. Overall I enjoyed this. It’s worth trying. mike67 (1195) - , New Jersey, USA - JUL 8, 2013
22 oz bottle. Pours dark amber with thin, foamy, white head and some carbonation. Aroma is of bready malt, citrusy hops, caramel and ripe fruit. Body is full, chewy and tangy. Citrusy hops, caramel malt and ripe fruit fill the mouth. Finish is long, grapefruity. Nice, tasty, balanced IPA. PoCo (5) - COUDERSPORT, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 6, 2013 does not count
This is a very good IPA from our friends in State College, PA.
It is regularly available now so it shouldn’t be "Special Seasonal". It it noticeably more hoppy than the Mt. Nittany. Clean up front, bitter hoppy back.

22 oz. Bottle from the Brew Pub.
Impressive, a good "middle of the road" IPA that does not go "over the top with the hop". Well done here. SudsMcDuff (8383) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - AUG 30, 2012
