3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aggressively hopped, but more on the British IPA spectrum rather than the juicy west coast iteration.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thanks to Kramer for this. Pours a amber color with a great hoppy aroma of citrus and pine. Flavor is fairly standard, but still good. Not anything too out of the ordinary, but a good IPA. More citrus hops and pine.

Aroma - nice balance of piney hops and floral hops.
Appearance - reddish-copper color body; clean and clear; head is about 1/2" white head
Taste - piney hops and a nice floral quality
Palate - body is medium; texture is moderate, and not oily; carbonation is lively; the finish is a nice hop roar that hangs on for a decent time.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz bottle. Pours dark amber with thin, foamy, white head and some carbonation. Aroma is of bready malt, citrusy hops, caramel and ripe fruit. Body is full, chewy and tangy. Citrusy hops, caramel malt and ripe fruit fill the mouth. Finish is long, grapefruity. Nice, tasty, balanced IPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Brian shared with my tasting buddies. Coppery amber with a solid off white head. Big pine and citrus aroma over a toffee background. Medium body and carbonation, quite dry with a lingering bitterness. The hops come on quickly with lots of bitterness supported by a study caramel sweetness. A very nice IPA in the West Coast tradition.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
10/7/08 - Draft at brewpub. Pours orange amber with foamy, off-white head, good lacing. Nose is pine and citrus hops with a good dose of caramel and toffee. Taste is moderately bitter to rather bitter with a good toffee and caramel background and lots of hop flavor, grapefruit, pine, floral notes, all towards the end with bitter and perfumy notes lingering well into the after. A great replacement/hold over until DD’s can return. Heck, I hope they keep this on the menu, too.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, courtesy kramer. Pours copper color, with creamy white head and very thick lacing. Nose has sharp piney hops, some vanilla, mango and other tropical elements. Bitter hops hit first, with some nice tropical fruit to follow. Crisp, drinkable and very bitter, but yummy.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is full citrus, hops. Taste is completely different. Not so hoppy and not citrusy. Didn’t really liked the taste in fact.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Otts Pours a clear copper with a small white head. The head is gone fairly quickly. Has a very well mixed aroma of hops and malts with the hops just winning out. It is very well blended. Has a solid mouthfeel and good carbination. Packs a decent hoppiness and a good dry finish. On the light side of medium body for me but this is a good beer.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
DATE REVIEWED: August 7, 2014... GLASSWARE: Hop Devil nonick... OCCASION: enjoying a nice haul from our State College weekend...APPEARANCE: clear, red amber body that streams a steady effervescence; dirty white head settles from a solid finger to a creamy resilience flaring with sunbursts of lacing--great to look at... AROMA: brilliant botanical array of lilac, carnations and grass; secondary scents of spices such as allspice and nutmeg--invitingly complex... PALATE: mellow, medium-bodied and drinkably relaxed; a thin yet consistent aftertaste holds to the back of the throat; creamy, if anything... TASTE: a solidly established pale ale, though not big enough for the India moniker--well-rounded, perhaps, by the soft, sweet malts that balance every sip; the malts--creamy, buttery--escort blunted hops along the journey, with a sessionable invitation... OVERALL: although a pleasant sipping beer, I find it tough to call this IPA anything beyond above average, as so many breweries are setting thee bar so high in this style...still, tough to slam a beer that is aesthetically pleasing and delivers on its promise with enough balance to convince--albeit temporarily--that the overhopped IPA is not the way to go ....
