Bottle… C&P’sLYFO Throwdown… Fairly clear burnt orange ale with a small, creamy, fat-bubbled, white head. The nose is grassy and piney. Medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Perfectly balanced - much like a PNW IPA - with a pinch of salt. Crisp, moderately bitter finish. Bottle provided by otakuden! Video = http://homepage.mac.com/maltajo/RATEBEER/iMovieThe

Pours copper with a lasting white head. Smells of earthy hops, peppery. Tastes of earth, tea, some dry malty hints.

Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 21, 2010
This poured a nice amber color with a large white head. Aroma was nice medium amount of floral and citrus hops but nothing too crazy. Flavor was much the same at the beginning a nice blend of different types of hops, but unfortunately the bitterness fades quickly into a rather bland biscuty finish.

DiarmaidBHK (5373) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 10, 2011
Nice citrus notes on the nose. Pours a ruby brown with a light white head. Big hop explosions on the tongue especially if you aerate it. The taste lingers nicely.

Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - JUL 12, 2011
12 July 2011, bottle. light amber, slightly pinkish, clear, steady bubbles. frothy tan head. sweet malt and rosy hops in the nose. med/thin watery body w/ some carbonation. can’t say i’m a huge fan of this. it is arather nettle/briar hop flavor. there’s no real sweetness or malt flavour and the hops aren’t the best to rest a beer on.

zgaier (1962) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - JAN 29, 2013
Pours a rusty orange with an off white head and aroma of hops, pine, and grapefruit. Taste is sweet, of hops, pine, grapefruit, malt, and caramel with a heavy bitter, dry finish, Drinkable, good IPA

An okay crisp brew. Has a bit of a nice spice taste blended with the hops, smooth aftertaste with standard bitter hop flavor.

Dark amber pour, aroma of citrus and floral hops, taste is similar, nothing stands out, but overall pretty good

Aggressively hopped, but more on the British IPA spectrum rather than the juicy west coast iteration.
