On tap at Otto’s. Pours a clear orange tinged amber with a medium sized white head. Crisp crackers and grain on the nose, a touch of sweetness. Crisp and grainy, super clean. A touch of sweet grain and soft bitterness into the finish. Easy drinking. DocLock (10702) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 21, 2004
I liked this beer, and Otto's is a great place. Pours darm amber, with medium head. Aroma of hops, malt, citrus, and florals. Tastes malty, bitter, with hints of spice and fruit. Very complex. I took a growler of this to go. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - NOV 13, 2005
This should be recategorized into the Vienna style I think. It certainly doesnt pour like a pale lager, but rather it is a medium copper color and almost no head. Aroma is mostly hoppy with lots of subtle spices, and herbal/floral hints. Good malt profile- light caramel hints, some bready hints, and a great hop flavor and moderate bitterness. Relatively smooth, and easy to drink. kmweaver (3207) - Petaluma, California, USA - JAN 1, 2008
Draft @ Otto’s. Pours a clear, orange-amber color; light tan head with fine-bubbled lacing. A bit of caramelized sugar in the aroma. Medium mouthfeel: chewy candy sugar and dried red fruits; the slightest amount of weight in the mouth; fruity malt-forwardness and very drinkable. Medium, sugar and dried fruit in the finish. Had at the brewpub. Served in a pint glass.
Appearance – A rusty orange color which formed a nice billowy head. The head slowly faded leaving a it of foam lacing on the cap of the beer throughout the drinking experience.
Smell - Some malty aromas with a little bit of dried fruit perhaps. The smallest aroma of citrus and pine as well.
Taste –A malty and grainy brew. Can pick up a faint hint of hops at the end of the drink, not much; appropriate for the style.
Mouthfeel – A good level of carbonation and a good heartiness in body for a lager. A pretty nice mouthfeel.
Overall – A good beer, not what I would have origanlly expected but a nice surprise.

UPDATED: APR 1, 2009 Draft at the brewpub, Jan 2007 version. Golden fire color, clear. Nose of apples, cranberries and honey. Palate is noticeably thin, and flavor is more faint than expected, but still has a solid biscuit malt, honey and apple flavor. Fairly good, but not exactly what I like in Vienna lager. On tap at the brewpub on 4/9/07: Pours a transparent orange bronze with a thin, frothy covering of white head. Aroma of slightly toasty and sweet Vienna malt with a touch of Hallertau hops. Sweet, caramely malty body has a nice touch of toasted grain toward a thinner, bittersweet finish. A pretty nice Vienna. Rciesla (5499) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - MAR 11, 2009
Draft at Otto’s. Pours an amber body with a white head. Dry lagered notes, nutty with light fruitiness. Mildly chewy and enjoyable. egajdzis (6589) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 5, 2004
Copper color with no head. Malt and light citrus aroma. Very malty, light spice, and mild, dry, hop finish. OK, but nothing spectactular. jason (1834) - Easton, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 16, 2005
UPDATED: SEP 3, 2006 Great light lager. Lite red color, slight fruity aroma. Taste great every time it hits the tongue, good aftertaste. One of Otto’s great lighter beers. Good one for people who don’t like to take chances on a "beer". Cheers!
