On tap at Otto’s on our way to RBSG. Pours a clear straw yellow with a thin white head. Light hops, crisp grain. Crisp and grainy, faint lemon. Decent, but standard. This could be a basic lager at a brewpub anywhere. Dry crackers and grain on the finish.

Enjoyed at the brewpub on-tap. Apple juice with a minimum normal head. On the watery side. A little hop taste, like a bit watered down. Above average carbonation, It’s somewhat astringent, not very drinkable. 4.8% abv DocLock (11020) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 26, 2007

UPDATED: APR 1, 2009 First batch, May 2007. I asked what style this was and was told ’Pre-prohibition lager’... it’s filtered, which is a shame, but still has a nice appearance and nice smell... clear medium dark yellow colored body with about a 1-inch head of white foam. Fresh smelling nose, with toasty crackers and light, sharp grains... with some sweet, almost sweaty smelling corn scents. Taste is crisp and tangy, more corn, but fresh rather than sour, and perhaps some lemon and wheat flavors as well. Ok overall, comparable to Full Sail Session Lager I would say.

Second batch, from a growler, August 2007. Lost a lot of it’s appeal, I think. Seemed more thin, more empty, lacking bite, lacking the noticeable cracker and grain flavors, instead just some pasty corn tasted. I liked it the first time they put it on - not sure about this second batch.
well.. basically ... light grain .. dry medium dead grass .. . light mouthfeel .. nothing really to exciting, well- except of interesting waiter .. . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CljldVFRk6o
