(330ml bottle, BB March 2010) Pours a hazy yellow body with a moderate white head. Aroma of mustiness, butter, candi sugar, light perfume, and some coriander. Flavor of candi sugar, yeast, and grass with a dry finish.

Sample at OMBF 2017, Kraków. Some phenolic notes in aroma. Quite good but not exceptional.

Mesjasz (1613) - Lodz, POLAND - SEP 29, 2017
Butelka. Aromat klasyczny, dosyc drozdzowy, lekko fenolowy, nuty owocow. Niestety w smaku dosyc alkohol, ale mimo wszystko fajny tripel.

3.7
teddybeer (4048) - Madrid, SPAIN - SEP 10, 2017
Orangish color, off-white head with good duration. Aroma has sweet notes, hints of cookies and Belgian yeast. Flavor is slightly sweet, some alcoholic presence, bready notes with spices. Alcoholic final, medium sweetness and maltiness.

2.5
tonyferrari (33) - North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUL 23, 2017
Served on tap. Clear straw-gold colour. Thin, fluffy, medium-lasting, white foam. No aroma. The high 9,5% Abv, although not disturbing, masks a light malty flavour and a low bitterness. Medium-low body, Medium carbonation. No doubt it is not my favourite tripel.

JorgeLee (2194) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 22, 2017
Bottle, Monk, Brussels. Deep golden colour with a thin white foam. Firm carbonation. Sweet and malty, rich with some heavy pear drop esters. Hint of spicy hop. Medium finish. At the heavier and boozier end of tripels, I’d have preferred it drier.

3.2
ForlornHope (535) - Hampshire, ENGLAND - JUL 12, 2017
Bottle at home. Pours golden with a huge, rocky head. Yeasty, spicy, bready aroma with a whiff of booze. Sweet with a little bitterness. Grainy taste with vanilla and clove. Sticky and boozy finish. OK, but a bit too strong.

What’s Brewing 2016, day 1. Copper body with a big lively head. Aroma of sweet fruits and spicy yeast esters. Taste of bread, alcohol, wood, slowers. Sweet finish with mild peppery yeast notes.

Birthday Corked Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Pale golden with a very large bubbly white head. It has a sweet lemon, citrus and spicy fruity flavour with clove, vanilla and earthy notes on the spiced fruity finish. Very good.
