Nice orange pour with a big white head. Really balanced aroma to this. Some vinous notes, grass and earthy funk, some mild must, tons of yeast, and a good green apple tartness. The flavor is quite dry and yeasty. Tons of must, some grass, a bit of oak, and lactic sourness. Very well done beer.

Bottle shared by Jim at Al's. Notes of plastic gloves, dentist office, chemicals, pool water cherry, oak, and lemon acetic notes. Medium bodied with lighter carbonation. Not awful but certainly not good compared to 3 Font, Tilquin and other producers. Can taste the 8 percent.

Bottle: Poured a hazy bright yellow color ale with a large foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing. Aroma of tart notes with light oak and green apple notes is quite exquisite. Taste is also a wonderful mix of tart notes with some light oak and green apple notes with a dry finish with subtle funky finish. Body is about average with great carbonation which is reminiscent of champagne. A wonderful beverage that is in my opinion better then lots of sparkling wine out there. rumore (865) - Rimini, ITALY - NOV 19, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 20, 2017 75cl bottle at FOB, Rimini, Italy, as Bzart Kriekenlambiek Millésime (2013). Pours dark plum with pink irregular foam. Aroma is ripe cherries under spirit, liquor. Body is medium-dense worry low carbonation. Taste I'd low in sweetness, moderately strong in sourness. Finish is average. _angst_ (5009) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 23, 2017
Bottle bought @ Etre IIRC. Hazy burnt golden pour with a frothy white head. Fairly dirty funky Brett nose with plenty of apple skins, light caramel, basement & plenty of horse blanket. Intriguing but rough dirty brett. Tiny sweet, slightly sour & funky taste. Slightly dry sparkling mouthfeel. Solid but not spectacular. 750ml bottle shared at epic Cantillon tasting. Aroma: strong green olive, white wine, oaky citrus. App: clear golden, small white head leaving little lacing. Taste and palate: medium body, moderate high carbonation, light sweetness, salty a bit, lots of olives. Overall: olives are a bit overwhelming. It's interesting though. 75cl bottle at home (4 VI 2017), shared with family. This Oud Beersel Bzart Lambiek is the upgraded champagne-style or brut-version of the Oud Beersel lambic, making the Bzart series a more exclusive looking, qualitative interesting brew. I like this series, I have to admit. The appearance of this thirteen months old lambic grants a golden, hazy look with light brown gloom. The liquid is very sparkling, although somewhat "misty" and has some weird white foam on top - swiftly diminishing as expected. All this makes up for an interesting, appealing and beautiful "dirty" golden look. The nose has murky, dust, grape peel, fruit, lambic, wood, lemon notes, accompanied with brett and farmyard hints and a keen spicyness. These aromas all are in place, without becoming overpowered. The taste is champagne-like, with a carbonated (low-medium) yet soft mouthfeel. This beer has a very dry, fruity sour body. There are keen lemon or lemon zeste features in there as well, together with a subtle wood flavour. This is a very fresh and soft beer, with vivid yet restrained taste sensations, giving this Bzart Lambiek a young character. This is a really nice and lovely beer experience - quite a successful operation.
