Bottle shared by Travlr: pours an effervescent bright ruby with a large froth of pink head. Has a fresh fruity cherry nose with some light funk and vinous oak. Starts with good carbonation and smooth light malty sweetness with some sweet fruity notes and oaky complexity before a drier puckering finish. True to style and enjoyable.
Pours a deep crimson red with four fingers of pinkish fizz that settles quickly. Brisk carbonation throughout with nice sweet candy cherry notes to balance nicely off of the musty basement funk. Slight phenolic esters glimpse in mid to late palate detracting from the finesse of the overall beer but its a well made kriek for sure. Few points off the score for being a $50 bottle which I doubt I would ever purchase again when there are so many good krieks at a fraction of the cost. 750ml bottle shared thanks to Lukaduke! Opens with a tiny gush and pours ruby red with a couple fingers of pink foam. Nose and taste are quite nice, semi sweet cherry skin, berry, captain crunch berry cereal, subtle funk, light toast and some earthiness. Medium tartness. Best Bzart I’ve tried so far! Bottle @ home. Hazy dark red color, average sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is superb nice red fruit with tart and light sourness. Taste red fruit, quite sour, sharper than I had expected, a bit too much of the sharp fruitpeel sourness for me to really enjoy it. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - MAY 27, 2016
bottle, tons of cherry flavors, very light lambic flavors and notes. Finish is all cherries, more of a cherry fruit ale than a lambis Too young. Mesjasz (1511) - Lodz, POLAND - APR 24, 2016

The beer is smooth and fruity. Very easy to drink. Fresh and smooth. The cherry is round and smooth. The cherry is nice and not too sour, fresh and mild. Nice sourish horseblanket. Nice deep with a nice smooth body. Hints of sweetness in the cherry, the aftertaste is smooth with lots of funky yeast. Hints of bitterness of the yeast aroma. Smooth and mild. Great combination but a bit sweetish. Beerhunter111 (20362) - P´Castle, GERMANY - FEB 13, 2016

Bottle @ home. Bottle 123/200. Red colour, light pink foam. Lively carbonation. Very fruity, a lot of cherries. Sour and tart, dry finish. Well balanced. Very good Kriek. markextrae (4410) - Alingsås, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - APR 14, 2015
bottle shared at a ’bzart tasting’ with a few colleagues, poured a nice dark red colour in the beginning of the bottle, with a nice dark pink /red unstable head. dark sweet cherries, cherrie pie, grains, sour cherries, raspberries, nice lively carbonated, red grapes, oak, bit spice, reminds me of a bit of a sweeter version of the oud beersel kriek, thank god we where with a lot of people who paid for this tasting. i don’t get the price tag of the 2 series of bzart. very nice beers. but it’s not that they are way and way better as their regular geuze and kriek beers.
