COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Framboise is a classic among the Belgian beers created by adding whole fresh raspberries (250 g/l)to a blend of young and old lambic. Framboise Oud Beersel is the missing link between beer and wine and is served chilled in flute glasses.

Pours a dark red colour. Taste is of raspberries and is quite sour. Good example of the style

Bottle @ home.

BIERCAB Barcelona. FASS. 18cl/3,50.

Bottle @deTolly, Tartu. Pours red mahagon with pink head. Aroma: raspberry, soap, bubblegum, wet and a bit rotten strawberry. Taste; sweet, raspberry, candy and sugary bubblegum. Medium body. Not what I expect from lambic.

SIBF 2016, Seattle. Smaller white cream. Depth of clear red. Sweet depth of fresh raspberries, clean fruity sip. Very light, quite fruity more than tart. Sweet, a touch syrup. Vaguely crystal geyser. Not fantastic.

Draught. Reddish/dark amber coloured. Small off white head. Aroma. Sourness, raspberries, some barnyard, some earth. Flavour. Sourness, earth, barnyard, funk, raspberries, some citrus. Medium to full bodied. Ends sour and full of raspberries.

375 ml bottle. Best by 6/21/2016. The beer is a clear red with a pink head of foam. The aroma has a huge raspberry. Smells funky and acidic, but that bright acidity mellows out in the taste. There is a bit of tartness, but the berry is more sweet than sour. Medium body and soft carbonation. Pretty nice.
