COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Framboise is a classic among the Belgian beers created by adding whole fresh raspberries (250 g/l)to a blend of young and old lambic. Framboise Oud Beersel is the missing link between beer and wine and is served chilled in flute glasses.

As soon as I started pouring I was struck by the raspberry jam aroma. It clued me in that this one wouldnt be the sour lambic that I wanted but I cant deny the appeal of such an aroma. The appearance was grand. All dark and stuff with one of those huge heads that makes a column in the middle and then collapses on himself. Alas, this is just a decently made but overly sweet raspberry soda lambic. I sort of like them but I dont really find them satisfying. I cant deny that theres some good craftsmanship behind these things but whatever its boring.

Bottle @deTolly, Tartu. Pours red mahagon with pink head. Aroma: raspberry, soap, bubblegum, wet and a bit rotten strawberry. Taste; sweet, raspberry, candy and sugary bubblegum. Medium body. Not what I expect from lambic.

SIBF 2016, Seattle. Smaller white cream. Depth of clear red. Sweet depth of fresh raspberries, clean fruity sip. Very light, quite fruity more than tart. Sweet, a touch syrup. Vaguely crystal geyser. Not fantastic.

375 ml bottle. Best by 6/21/2016. The beer is a clear red with a pink head of foam. The aroma has a huge raspberry. Smells funky and acidic, but that bright acidity mellows out in the taste. There is a bit of tartness, but the berry is more sweet than sour. Medium body and soft carbonation. Pretty nice.

Beautiful ruby color. Smells intesnsely of raspeberry, wiht some vinegar, minerals, and a deep yeasty smell. Taste is also dominated by the berries, but also has a nice touch of wheat in the aftertaste. Nice round palate, with a lovely balanced finish. Not sharp, but tart in the end.

Clear red color with minimal off-white to slightly pinky head. Lots of raspberry in the aroma, some sourness. Raspberry taste, wonderful in the beginning, but it turns to water seconds after. Too bad for that. Thin body, soft carbonation. //bottle at Craft Room

Bottled 375ml. -at the MBR Sour Beer tasting. Ruby coloured, small off-white head, mild raspberry in the nose. Half sweet half tart raspberry taste with notes of wood and PEZ candy like finish. Nothing special here.
