On tap @ What’s Brewing, Stavanger. Pours hazy dark golden, with a tiny rocky head. Aroma is tart bretty fruity notes of white wine barrels, as well as currants and farmhouse notes. Medium body, with soft to no carbonation. Flavour is tart notes of berries, fruit peel and bretty wood, as well as farmhouse notes and earthy notes. Lingering fruity brett in the finish. No head nice light golden color. Aroma is mild sour-ish, old rope, sorrel, sour socks, citrus, grass, minerals, unripe berries. Taste is mild sour-ish dry, sorrel, minerals, sour socks, citrus peel, bark, fruit stones, grass, hay, old rope. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish mouthfeel. Nice.

4oz draft at Churchkey’s Oud Beersel event. Described as aged 6 months in Chateauneuf-du-Pape barrels, confirmed by the brewer himself, Gert. Great guy, bu the way. Hazy copper with a small white head A: funky vinegar and yeast, hay, apricot. T: not as brite or funky, more mellow, with stone fruit, yeast and hay. Lite to moderate palate, dry finish.
