COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Geuze is a classic among the Belgian Ales, following spontaneous fermentation in wooden barrels (no yeast or sugar added), young and old Lambic are blended; which results in a dry, tart and fruity wine like taste. Oud Beersel Geuze Ale is the white sparkling wine of the ale world.

Looks like hazy fizzy applejuice. Aroma is (very) sour medicinal and mineral. Oh my God. Citric sour with some herbal and almost savory. Body is thin but extremely refreshing. Very nice lambic.

Bottle. Pours cloudy yellow. Aroma is funk, farmhouse, stables, citric. Body is medium, light funky, quite fruity and sweet for a gueuze. Soft fizzy carbonation, almost flat. Dry funky palate. A very solid gueuze!

Clean light orange, slightly murky on second pour. Small head recedes quickly leaving only the thinnest lace. Aroma is mostly tartly citric and slightly pungent, with a musty note growing as the beer warms up. Taste shows firm sourness/tartness (average per style), mellowed enough by slight sweetness. Citric notes are dominant as the smell suggested with lemon and tangerine (am i getting a hint of strawberry?), with slight mustiness showing up in the back (something like salami peel may be the best attempt at depicting it). Light to medium bodied with fine, very gentle crispness. Goes down terribly easy with a surprisingly mellow finish given its tartness. Overall decently complex and very solid in terms of balance and drinkability. Well done

Das Softie Gueuze. Nah am Boon Black Label, zum Ende dann aber doch straighter Stumpfer. Sweet im Kontext von SOUR 🎆👌. 375ml Bottle im CAFE BELGE, leuven.

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2017 Bottle. Moderate straw for the malt, light herbs and lemon rind for the hops, musty basement, damp rotten wood and a fall leaf pile for the yeast, with mace and white wine must in the background . Head is large, frothy, white with slippery lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is sparkling clear, light amber. Flavor starts heavily to harshly acidic and acetic, then finishes heavily acidic, lightly bitter and a touch salty. Palate is on the lighter side of medium, watery, with a fizzy carbonation and a tart finish. I?ve conquered sour ales, but straight up Geueze Lambics still kick my ass. This one was no different.

Aromat dziki, co ciekawe mocno owocowy. Czuć jabłka, białe owoce, cytrusy. W smaku rwnież owocowe, trochę cytrusowej kwaśności, nieco cierpkie w pestkowy sposb. Ciekawy profil, nieco odmienny, ale bardzo przyjemny

Piwo mętne, bez fusw i farfocli, w kolorze słomkowe.
W aromacie cytrusy, jabłko, bardziej w tle końska derka.
Smak bardzo delikatny i subtelny, cytrusy, skra, zakończony lekką goryczką. Cytrusy sa bardziej dominujace.
Bardzo dobre piw

one of the my favorites. unique and excellent. beautiful foam stays all day long. amazingly complex taste from wild fermentation. lemon and grapefruit taste with refreshingly astringent. some floral and earthy touches. amazingly balanced. low bodied, but feeling is awesome due to high carbonation. no need to taste hops. highly drinkable despite some sourness. amazing beer.
