Looks like hazy fizzy applejuice. Aroma is (very) sour medicinal and mineral. Oh my God. Citric sour with some herbal and almost savory. Body is thin but extremely refreshing. Very nice lambic.

Bottle, thnx to Jimmy. Pours a clear golden straw yellow beer with a quickly disappearing off white head on top. Aroma has lots of barnyard funk, oak and horse blanket, typical gueuze aroma. Flavor is stringent and very tart, oaky and very dry. Quite high in carbonation, long in a stringent tarty aftertaste. Nice one.

Bottle shared with ebone1988 for the Koleminer20 turns 3k and Ebone1988 turns 1.6k Bonanza. 375 mL bottle, 2014 vintage. For the fucking book. The pour is a darker orangey gold with a thick white head and a couple spots of lace left behind. The aroma is dank as fuck. Holy funky weed. Got damn. Its got a light lemon zest about it with a decent sour and a lovely funky mineral on the back end. Its pretty awesome. Interesting, but well done. The flavor is incredibly sweet. There is a light metallic addition and a hint of zest and a light funkiness, but this is nothing like the aroma would lead on. Its a disappoinent, actually. The mouth feel is a bit syrupy and undercarbonated with a sweetness that doesnt belong on the back end. It started out so well, and fell flat.

Bottle shared with koleminer20 for the Koleminer20 Turns 3k and Ebone1988 turns 1.6k Bonanza. For the book. 2014 vintage. Aroma is dank as fuck, super fucking funky, slight tart, mineral, slight bitter, white wine. Appearance is golden amber, off white head, slightly hazy, great head retention. Taste is disappointing, slight funk, slight bitter, mostly sweet, not complex, not real dank, just terribly disappointing. Mouthfeel is light to medium body, light crisp carbonation, slight funky sweet aftertaste. Overall, highly disappointing.

Bottle. BBE date May 2026; Drank Feb 2009 - Hazy orange in colour. Yeasty; funk, wood, leather. Fruity; crisp, citrus (orange and lemon), spicy. Tart and mildly sour. Dry finish. Smooth, soft and subtle; not as extreme as some gueuze. Liked this! Nice gueuze! (2009-02)

Hazy gold with lasting off white head. Some sourness on aroma, really quite drinkable, nice grapefruit touches. Its pretty good. Excellent fruit flavours and not too acidic.

375ml bottle. Pours a hazy orange-gold with plenty of floaties and a large, frothy, long lasting, white head that laces. Sour aroma of green apple, lemon, orange, wet horse blanket and oak. Sweet fruity flavour of peach, grapefruit, orange, lemon, green apple, white wine, brett, dust and oak with a dry, sour, acidic finish. Light to medium body with a watery texture and lively carbonation. Has some complexity, very nice.

Clear dark gold pour, thin head. Smells like wet grass and funky earthy fungus. Taste is suitably sour, lots of funk and aged woody character,. Delicate and delicious, creamy palate, dry, aged hops, very nice.

0.375 l bottle from Bierwinkel Hop, bottled in November 2013. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sourish, quite funky ,moderately fruity and a bit dusty aroma of lots of lemon, rhubarb, barnyard, oak and some sweat. Over medium sour, rather funky and also quite fruity taste of lots of lemon, gooseberry, rhubarb, massive oak, barnyard and some dust, followed by a medium long, rather tart, very woody-dry finish. Thin to medium body, astringent, fizzy and very effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. I wouldnt call it mellow, but its not aggressively sour either. Quite well-balanced with nice fruity and funky flavours and a champagne-like mouthfeel. Good Geuze!
