Deep red with minimal pink head. Aroma of cherries, combined with sour and earth. Taste is quite sour with hint of cherry. Lots of carbonation. Overall nicely balanced. mviljamaa (206) - FINLAND - MAR 22, 2017
Pours with no foam, but there is carbonation. Deep red color, slightly cloudy. Aroma is metallic and toilet refresher -like. Aroma also has lingonberry and rowan berry. Palate is light and there’s a good amount of dryness. Taste has raspberry and fresh cherry, but has less cherry than other "Krieks" I’ve had. Sourness and slight bitterness gives a good kick and the taste is refreshing. Additionally taste has small hints of herbs like oregano, but is still very raspberry dominant. It tastes a lot more like a cider, rather than beer, but even for a cider this would be a very good cider. Maybe the taste is slightly boring, because it tastes like soda, and does not have much complexity, but it’s still a refreshing and quality drink. dinkle50 (1583) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 20, 2017
Deep red, cherry colored pour with a single finger pink head. Aroma has some cherry notes and hints of funk. Lots of carbonation. Taste is full of cherry, tart, but not insanely so. Very lively carbonation to the point where the mouth stings a bit. Finishes sweet, not too acidic. No lace present. minutemat (6245) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAR 14, 2017
375ml bottle @ Chez Sophie. Pours a deep blood red, with large pinkish white head. Aroma is thorny, woody with mild breezy cherries. Taste is quite spritzy, lightly tart, woody, with excessively drying finish that produces some unwanted metallic notes. Lacks deep cherry flavours, indeed very thin and light in that regard. Not the best Oude Kriek in Belgium it has to be said. AdmiralVernon (1200) - SWEDEN - MAR 13, 2017
A: Deep red/purple coloured with a thick pinkish head N: Funk, sweet cherries, tart cherries, almond, dusty cellar T: Cherry! Hint of marzipan. Funky cellar. O: I really like this beer! Very well balanced tartness, fruityness and funk.

Pours hazy bright cherry red with a pink short lived head. Aroma is musty with cherries. Taste is very tart with notes of lemon, cherry, sumac, woody tannins, leather, and barnyard. Body is light to medium with lots of carbonation. I prefer less acidic, more fruit forward versions such as mort subite. TheKernOwl (216) - West Sussex, ENGLAND - FEB 13, 2017
V sour, brett-y. Nose also dusty/leather-y, yeasty; almost like cranberry juice with cinnamon! Bordeaux-like cherry nose continues into wine-like, tart mouth. Long wavering finish is like an echo chamber of watermelons, and leaves your tongue humming. tmzl (367) - SLOVENIA - FEB 10, 2017
Cherries dominate, almonds, low funk, goes to ripe/rotten melons, medium malic/lactic sourness, highly drinkable, fresh and dry. lefossoyeur (615) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 5, 2017
Pours a pristine scarlet purple with a big dark pink head that lasts for a good while. Cherry pits with hints of funk, very ’’clean’’ nose. Lively attack, bright cherry note, just a touch of sweetness to balance the acidity that is pretty gentle. Finish is tart cherries with an almost metallic note. That drinks so easily. Doesn’t reach intense complexity but I enjoyed it so much. MasDen (527) - Mogilev, BELARUS - FEB 5, 2017
