Lovely horse blanket hints, but more like a lazy horse rather than a heavily worked horse. Smells like the horse is carrying large sacks of cherries. A ruby red color with a pale pink head, this hints at what it is without being obvious, not overtly pink or red. This beer has a wonderful way of bringing out the sourness of a lambic, but throwing in dashes of pine needles and warm fruit, one of a kind.

Very fruity cherry aromas. Blood red in colour. Funky. Not as sour as I was expecting. Very enjoyable.

Bottle. Rubin red pour with pink head. Aroma is fresh with hay, citrus, elderflower and sour cherries. Taste is balanced with some raspberry and sour refreshing yeasty notes. Extreme high carbonation.

375ml bottle obtained in a trade. Pours a beautiful dark cherry mahogany red with a frothy pink head. Big head, long lasting with honeycomb shaped bubbled carbonation rising along the side of the glass. Smells sweet, subtle cherry notes with a nice woody, oaky finish. Typical "lambic" aroma is present. Not much going on, on the nose however. Very tart, dark cherry flavor throughout. Sour, oaky profile. Tasty "lambic" essence. A little too sour and not enough overall flavor or complexity to go along with it. Mouthfeel is tart and light. Crisp finish and an ok aftertaste. Its tasty and enjoyable but I was hoping for more from this one.

Bottle from the Delhaize on the Rue de Midi in Brussels. Pours a beautiful deep red with small pink head. Nose is cherry jam, strawberry, wood, cherry blossoms, just a tiny bit acidic. Heavily carbonated, maybe even a bit too much. Palate is very nice fruity cherry, some sourness in the finish, cherry wood middle. The carbonation ruins the fruityness a bit, but still very good!

Shared 2014 vintage bottle. Unclear red colour with lasting pink head. Aroma of cherries, currants, white fruits, leather, hay, some rustic notes. Taste is dry, medium sour, of cherries, currants, leather, other funk. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, tart finish. Crisp, fairly mature and complex. Very good kriek!

Deep red with minimal pink head. Aroma of cherries, combined with sour and earth. Taste is quite sour with hint of cherry. Lots of carbonation. Overall nicely balanced.

Pours with no foam, but there is carbonation. Deep red color, slightly cloudy. Aroma is metallic and toilet refresher -like. Aroma also has lingonberry and rowan berry. Palate is light and theres a good amount of dryness. Taste has raspberry and fresh cherry, but has less cherry than other "Krieks" Ive had. Sourness and slight bitterness gives a good kick and the taste is refreshing. Additionally taste has small hints of herbs like oregano, but is still very raspberry dominant. It tastes a lot more like a cider, rather than beer, but even for a cider this would be a very good cider. Maybe the taste is slightly boring, because it tastes like soda, and does not have much complexity, but its still a refreshing and quality drink.

Deep red, cherry colored pour with a single finger pink head. Aroma has some cherry notes and hints of funk. Lots of carbonation. Taste is full of cherry, tart, but not insanely so. Very lively carbonation to the point where the mouth stings a bit. Finishes sweet, not too acidic. No lace present.
