4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
The nickname for this beer at my bar is "Cherry Battery Acid" - I’ve had nothing quite so tart. Still, amazing.
UPDATED: NOV 21, 2017 Sour cherry and raspberry, sharp and carbonated on the tongue, semi cloudy, fairly short and flat on the taste front. Overall disappointed as I like a rounder, fuller flavour in a kriek, but drinkable and enjoyable. The nose is preferable to me, with an aroma reminiscent of a time gone by - sorry I can’t put my finger on it! No, wait - its Cremola foam! Bierridder_S (1120) - BELGIUM - NOV 20, 2017

Ciemno wiśniowy lambik, piana średnia i dość szybko znika. Aromat wiśni, trochę pestek nie czuć octu. W smaku podobnie, dominuje gorzkawy sok wiśniowy, obecne taniny. Ogólnie dobry owocowy lambik

Bottle from Alko, Helsinki. Pours ruby red with a little head. The aroma features cherries, red fruitiness and a touch of earthy yeastiness. Taste is light sweet initially, later becoming fairly sour and dry, displaying quality – taste is balanced and not too sweet. Fruity, slightly yeasty mix altogether. The palate is medium-bodied, average in carbonation. Not my favourite type of beer but totally drinkable despite that. Peaks above one-dimensional bulk krieks. jinroh (2282) - ESTONIA - OCT 8, 2017
Pours dark red, quit clear with beautiful pink hued foam. Aroma of cherries, tart, fruity. Taste has quite strong cherry, beautiful, some cherry stone character, almonds. Very approachable, drinks easy and acidity levels are not too high. Dry fruity cherry flesh finish. BenL8 (260) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 5, 2017
Bottle at home to celebrate my girlfriend's new job since she loves Kriek. Pours deep red with a lot of foamy head at the beginning, dissipates slowly over time. Aroma is wonderful, rich and acidic, beautiful layered cherry aromas with a touch of oak. Complex balasamic vinegar combined with the cherry aromas. Light to medium body, sour mouthfeel. Flavour is very complex for a kriek, with many layered flavours. Medium sourness, just a hint of sweetness, lot of cherries, some oak woodiness balances the acidity and bitterness. Finishes long, acidic with cherries. Beautiful kriek, one of the best I've had. Leighton (22327) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 1, 2017
Bottle shared in London for the Cad's leaving do - cheers to the man himself. Vintage 2013. Pours lightly unclear red with a creamy, pink head. Awesome cherry aroma, some flesh, some tartness. Light sweet flavourbwith lots of meaty cherries, low acidity, lightlyvtrt cherries. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with mellow tartness, lots of meaty and lightly tart cherries, low acidity. Great stuff overall. emincems (119) - TURKEY - SEP 28, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 21, 2017 Looks very attractive! Cloudy red color with big pink head. Smells cherry, tartness and wood. Taste is dominated by sour cherries. Thin bodied. Highly carbonated, effervescent on palate. Slightly puckering sour finish. Very good refresher. Respectable lambic!
