Bottle at craft beer company, London. Dark amber body than some other lambics, almost looks like an IPA, but not in taste. Lovely refreshing sour taste here. A very enjoyable gueuze.

A delicious and well rounded gueuze. Aroma was outstanding. Funk and dirt with a light yeastiness. Pour was a nice medium gold with a one finger off white head. Taste was very well rounded. Sourness level is at a medium, with the funk and sour flavors melding perfectly. Mild carbonation for the style. Finish is very quick and light. Almost tastes like it turns to spring water after the swallow. Odd, but doesn’t take away from the beer.

[US West Coast Trip 2013] grumligt guldig. Aroman är lite klenare än smaken men ändå bra fart. Väldigt fruktig, druvig och syrlig. Drar till bra i käken .

Clear rusty golden with a very acidic white head. Aroma is mild with tart lemon, barnyard, funky and fruity. Taste is a perfect amount of sourness, some funky yeast, some fresh tart apple and lemon and oak. Fantastic stuff.

A very nice gueuze. Pours deep orange with minimal head. Has trace elements of orange peel with a healthy funk.

Bottle from Good Beer NYC last night, shared a little with Erica. Pours medium to dark red-orange with a lot of head. Last few drops leave dark red-brown streaks on the top of the head. Aroma is sweet and acidic. Taste overall is sour with faint fruit notes. Not mouth-puckering. Interesting b/c it is somewhat grainy and malty on the back end, which I don’t usually get from sours. Pretty complex and tasty.

375mL Bottle. Grassy, herbal lemon aroma, pummeled with mushroom and grain. Refreshing tart approach. This feels a little lighter and casual than a lot of Gueuze I’ve had. Clean, straightforward grapefruit acidity, steeped hay, and orange peel. A very solid, clean gueuze with no detracting qualities, but no really stunning ones either.
