UPDATED: FEB 26, 2014 Fantastisk.

The aroma is dough yeast, apple cider vinegar, and a touch of anise, a the color has a cloudy dark amber character with a minimal white head. The taste is quite sour and mildly sweet, and the palate combines a lively carbonation, long finish, light body, and slick texture, which completely overpowers your mouth.

Pours a cloudy golden amber with a fair bit of head that quickly dissipates. the smell is somewhat like wine, with fruity and sour notes. Wow. A whole lot of sour up front, complex, with a dry finish almost a cider like taste but with greater complexity. Very interesting.

0,75 bottle from vinmonopolet kvadrat. vintage 2011/2012. Taste is sourish malty, some lemon, some basement. Taste is really nicely balanced, dirt, nice sourness and a very nice complexity.

[email protected], vintage 2010. Lemon, malts and strong horseblanket aroma. Hazy, yellow, white head. Sweetish, sourish, malty, light bitter, lemon, funky. Medium body. Flavourful, easy, balanced, yummy.

Bottle 37.5cl a cloudy copper orange beer with medium head. Nose is on wet wood, odd fruits and vinegar like. Aroma is on old apple, tart, spices, apricot, wheat, not too dry, very yeast like, more fruity and sweet than usual gueuse I had. Pleasant.

dbarnold (1127) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - MAR 20, 2013
Very good example of an oude gueuze. Blonde, cloudy, large white head, very funky nose. Tart dry palate with a quick finish.

badhack (554) - San Francisco, California, USA - MAR 17, 2013
Quite a fascinating tangy, almost champagne like beer. Funky, with a light fruity flavor, sour, lemon,
