Peachy cloudy body with a thin bubble ring floating around the out sided edge of the glass. Big, big funky aroma with lemon candy, vinegar, white wine....so complex in a simple way. Big lemon sour funk, bret, vinegar, more stuff. Big tart finish that turns sweet and lingers. So very dry its just sucking the syliva out of my mouth leaving only SAND! The more I drink the more I think this is a a dry white wine. By far the easiest drinking gueuze and there for my favorite Gueuze I ever had.

Pours golden, clear. Wild, crisp, fresh aroma with pretty barn accents. Very nice oude geuze.

oberschlesier (156) - Kattowitz, UPPER SILESIA, - NOV 14, 2017
Aromat: owoce, stajnia, beczkowe, przyjemne, łagodne. Smak: dość mocno kwaskowy, ale też dość łagodny i fajnie zbalansowany.

It pours hazy dark yellow with medium white head. Duration of foam is average, but it leaves a nice cover on top. Funky smell is inviting; barnyard, citrus and slightly wood aromas are in the nose. What a complex taste! It's fairly acidic sour with lemon, tangerine and vinous tartness. Sweetness of wheat and slight bitterness of oak support the complexity of taste. Light bodied. Fizzy on the palate. Softly puckering. Easy to drink for a gueuze. A masterpiece!

heman (1205) - Tychy, POLAND - NOV 6, 2017
Aromat intensywnie dziki: siano, stajnia, skóra, kwaśność wyraźna cytrusowa, czysta. W smaku wytrawne, bardzo orzeźwiające z cytrusowymi akcentami. Kwaśność średniej wysokości czysta. Nuty dzikie umiarkowane, skórzasto-stajenne. Finisz lekko cierpki.

Nice head. Aroma: sour; nice wilderness, bit of socks. Medium to high bitterness, flavour: malt neral, fruity

Lemon tart, oak, lemon peel, orange, acidic lime. Slightly hazy gold, small, creamy, white head. Medium sour. Sour citrus fruits, acidic lemon, lime, lemon peel, oak, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Outstanding, intensely complex aroma, beautiful. Bottle from Independent Spirit, Bath.

Bottle, courtesy of AdamChandler -- thanks a ton! This is just a classic gueuze, with exactly what you look for in the style. It's light bodied and extremely funky, with a layered complexity that lingers for a long time. Great stuff.

Maracuja05 (1776) - Mainz, GERMANY - OCT 20, 2017
13-10-17 // bottle 2016-2017 // hazy orange beer, small foam head. Aroma of dry lemon, wood, citric acid. Tastes is just perfect gueuzelike, great soft tartness, with dry acidic notes, farmhouse funky yeast. Some fruitiness.

beskid (316) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - OCT 19, 2017
Nicely balanced, subtle tartness and funk, more grapes and light lemon, very deep. Tart finish, refreshing.
