COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our lightest beer, we made the Proletariat for the no frills beer drinker who just wants a crisp, clean, refreshing ale.  It’s the only beer we named, dubbed in reference to the working class of our capitalist society, the common men and women who are always welcome at OMF.  Hints of citrus, biscuit.

Draft at Our Mutual Friend. Poured a clear yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was light lemon notes, light straw, resin, mild tropical fruit notes. Flavor was about the same - lots of tropical fruit notes, light resin.

(En fût à la brasserie): Une base céréalière simple, miellée et protéiné mais terriblement efficace.

On tap at the brewery. Proletariat session ale. A clear matte gold. Bready fruity aroma is nice. Light bodied and very clean, crackery malts, honey and a floral fruity flavor like Big Chew gum. Fun light brew. 3.5-6

On tap at Our Mutual Friend in Denver. Pours a light yellow colour with a small white head, clear. It has a light hop aroma, which is not too pronounced. Taste is a little sweet throughout, with a slight bitterness closer to the finish. Light body, good carbonation, and thin on the palate. Overall a decent beer.

Sample at the tap room. The beer is a clear pale golden color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily. Small strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, bready malt and a touch of fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a short grassy hops aftertaste. Average overall.

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2013 On tap at OMF. I mean, it is what its supposed to be. Clean, crisp, easy to drink, simple and refreshing. Let’s not make it something it’s not. It’s the OMF version of Bud Light, but actually decent.

I think that this is a fantastic beer. It has a wonderful sweet malt taste to it that is unmatched in other session beers. Absolutely brilliant.
