On tap at brewpub. Poured a cloudy bright golden yellow color with a medium frothy white head. Big lemon and wheat aroma. Taste dominated by the lemongrass, mildly sweet with a slight floral bitterness in the finnish. Mouthfeel is crisp, with a medium body and sharp carbonation.

Pours out a cloudy golden color with a small white head. Aroma is lots of lemons, light malt sweetness and floral hop. Taste is lots of lemon, light bready malts, light tartness. Refreshing, but wouldn’t want more than one, the lemongrass is a bit over the top.

Bottle from Bruisin’. Holy lemongrass! This pours a very cloudy yellow with a giant fizzy head that slowly fades away. Tons of lemongrass in the aroma and the flavor. There is a bit of yeast and rough wheaty notes somewhere beneath the hugely potent lemongrass. This is kind of like drinking a lozenge. Dial it back a few notches and this might be refreshing. . .drinkable at least.

On tap at Outer Banks Brewing Station. Pours hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is of light citrus and mild funk which I attribute to something in the beer and nothing to do with the freshness. The flavor contains notes of lemon and orange paired with some grassy notes and just a hint of soapiness. Light bodied and refreshing. Pretty good.

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy yellow color with a frothy white head. Banana clove nose. Lots of banana, clove, spice, some bubblegum, and nice lemon citrus notes. Some doughy yeast. Very refreshing.
