3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Had on tap at the brewery. Not my favorite style of beer, but this one is fairly well done. Pours a light hazy yellow with a decent white head. Medium carbonation. taste is crisp and clean- lemongrass is really faint. would be good summer sipper after a long day at the beach or working outside. wasn’t overly "wheaty" or yeasty- two big turn-offs in this style. also tried oyster stout and had a pint of a really nice black IPA. more like a hoppy stout- really big beer with a somewhat hoppy finish. excellent- my favorite of the 3. made me with I had thought to bring a growler.
Can. Golden with white fluffy head. All lemongrass. Nose and palate. Sweet and twangy. A good beach beer. dlovell2 (2166) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - AUG 23, 2016

Draft at the brewpub. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. The aroma has a nice lemon zest, a bit of yeasty esters. The taste has a touch of tartness before the creaminess of the ale comes through. The flavor is fairly typical of the style but this is refreshing. obxdude10 (2344) - Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 2, 2015
16oz can. Cloudy straw pour with a massive and bubbly white head. The huge head didn’t leave much lacing around the glass though. The nose was full of lemon and grassy weeds. The body was very lively and spritzy and full of carbonation. The flavors were quite refreshing, tart and perfect for a warm beach day. There’s, of course, plenty of lemon flavors with a summer’s day type of freshly cut grass and pulled weeds notes. The finish was again sprtizy and lively with more fruit and grassy flavors. Refreshing.

tepid transparent gold, large bubbled. Heavy cleaning plastic nose, lemongrass and light perfume. Lemongrass dominates front palate, bit of grass, fizzy but thin.
16oz can pours a clear, lemon yellow with a ring of white head. Nose is all lemongrass, just fresh lemongrass to the face, curry, ginger too... not much else. Flavor has all lemongrass. Whoa. One note. radagast83 (8105) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUN 2, 2015
