Draft at restaurant. Very light, not much aroma or taste, even for this style. Clear, little head. Refreshing, but could have a little more to it. nickd717 (4842) - San Francisco, California, USA - SEP 8, 2010
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy yellowish golden straw color with a decently-formed white head and good lacing. The aroma is white bread, grain, and lightly citric hops. Rather standard. There is a popcorn note on the flavor, which I don’t get in many beers (not buttery though). Besides that I get pale malt, cereal grain, and a faint bittering hop character. Very light on the palate, and I must admit it’s decently crisp and refreshing. Pretty bland an one-note overall, but above average for the style nonetheless. jredmond (8518) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 11, 2010
Draft at the Outer Banks Brewing Station in Kill Devil Hills, NC. Pours aa clear yellow with thin white lacing. Aroma is very light, possible german malts. Mouthfeel is incredibly thin with notes of light yeast, very smooth finish with not much flavor overall. Capa (3402) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - MAR 11, 2010
Clear golden with a rocky white head. Light aroma with a hint of zesty citrus. Crisp but light in the flavor. Cereal grains and real light fruity hops. Not much going on here but there is nothing bad about this one, either. Real refreshing on a warm afternoon. Pretty decent. Funknmilla (747) - WAYNE, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 24, 2009
Draft at brewpub 7-31-09 ...light pale straw with a smidge of a head....smells like nothing more than a light beer....light zingy body...just simple and refreshing....a hint of hops but all mild all mild nothing wild

Appearance: Hazy, pale gold with a small, foamy, white head.
Aroma: Light nose with hints of cereal and a touch of citrus.
Flavor: Cereal dominates on the malt side, but there is a good balancing bitterness with citrus and floral notes.
Palate: Medium-high carbonation with a light mouthfeel and a medium-short finish.
Overall: It doesn’t quite have that crisp bite I was hoping for, but it is still a pretty good beer and not a bad interpretation of the style. 6ROW (473) - corpus christi, Texas, USA - SEP 29, 2009
golden to yellow pour with a dense white head , clean and crisp fine example of a kolsch. mwelsh13 (499) - Maryland, USA - JUL 31, 2009
Draft pours pale yellow with a light floral aroma. Crisp bitterness that is also light followed by a watery body with only a small amount of sweetness. Not much to it. BR007 (14) - Strongsville, Ohio, USA - JUL 20, 2009
On tap 7-19-09. Crips clean taste, nice aroma. OK but not spectatular. My two guests thought it was pretty good. Birdiebeagle (958) - Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 8, 2009
Draft @ OBBS Pours a clear golden with small white head. The head leaves quickly but laces okay. Has a good aroma of wheat and lemon. The carbonation is good. Flavor is crisp and clean. A very refreshing beer. Has a light body. The texture is watery. Has a good finish with a nice aftertaste. A good beer to drink on a hot day very refreshing.
