Black pour with a little head which faded. Coffee aroma which was nicely balanced in the taste by some sweetness. Decent beer.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was basically a dark brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute leaving some messy lacing roaming around the glass.
The smell started off with a nice roast leading into sweet cocoa and slight coffee.
The taste took the previously mentioned flavors and added a rich English-esque maltiness to it. I think that helps to create a nice lingering sweet aftertaste leading into a semi-sweet wet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly good sessionability about it. Carbonation runs right for the style and for me.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good stout that I would have again.
UPDATED: AUG 8, 2017 Bottle from the brewery. Aroma is rich roasted bready malts with notes of caramel, chocolate and coffee. Appearance is opaque black with no sparkle, negligible light brown head and lacing. Taste is nice balance of moderate sweet and bitter, much like the aroma. Palate is full bodied with thick texture, enough of a carbonation backbone to support the beer but is not a defining feature. Finish is long remnant of the balanced sweet/bitter. Overall, a really nice beer. Appearance is so-so but so what? Taste is the main thing and this is highly satisfying. Prufrockstar (2259) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - SEP 6, 2014
20 dec 13 bottle shared by Skyview - thanks! Brown pour. Aroma: nutty, roast, cola. Taste: somewhat sweet with light roast finish. Palate: Lightish body that feels a little thin. Overall: Nice offering from the Out Haus -- not at all like diarrhea. JK (6329) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - SEP 5, 2014
What a terrible name for a brewery. Bottle shared by Bob. Full bodied stout. Moderately well roasted and what I perceived as sweet lactose. Good palate.

Pours a three finger khaki head that fades slowly leaving some lace. Black color, no highlights, ton of yeast left in bottle. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Roasted chocolate nose and flavor is roasted to burnt chocolate with an earthy hop finish. $6.75 for a 22oz bottle from Bert’s Better Beers Hooksett NH. 22 oz. bottle from The Beer Store. Dated Dec. 20th ’13. Pours black with a 2 finger creamy, beige head. Head sticks around quite awhile and leaves a bit of lace. Aromas of roasted malt, coffee with cream and chocolate. Semi sweet taste with more of the above. Full bodied with a creamy texture. Easy to drink. I hadn’t noticed that the abv was only 4.56%. I was wondering where that nice warm glow was after I drank it. AirForceHops (7894) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 19, 2014
22 oz. bottle with a stamp of 7 Feb, 2014 on the label. Black with thin tan head. Aroma is nice. Roasted grain, chocolate, and ash.
Nothing out of the ordinary as far as the flavors go, roasted oatmeal, light coffee notes and a bit of black chocolate. Some light bitterness in the finish. Dry texture. Soft carbonation in a medium body. Solid.
