Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear deep amber brown with a tan head that dissipates completely. Aroma has earthy dark grains and roasted malts supported by peanut butter. Flavor has a nice earthy dark grain and peanut butter combination with a hint of roast. bulldogops (2885) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 21, 2016
Rating #1946 2015.09.25 #CraftTakesSeattle Day 2, Beer 46 - Flight at pub. Dark, dark brown/black pour with a weak tan foam that bubbles away super quickly. Peanut character shines in the finish, rounds out this beer nicely Low-medium carbonation, and on point for style.Tasty. mcberko (20260) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 19, 2015
On tap at Outlander, pours black with a medium tan head. Nose brings out dry roasted peanuts upfront. Flavour is very similar, with loads of shelled peanuts and a dry roastiness. Very pleasant. As a fan of peanut butter stouts, I appreciate this. Nice one. Ferris (17779) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 14, 2015

On tap at the Outlander taproom. Pours a pitch black with a light tan head that leaves little to no lacing. Smells of roasted malt, dark chocolate, and peanut butter. Tastes,of all the same things in the smell. Mouthfeel is thin and watery with light carbonation. I think this was pretty good. Tasted like a peanut butter cup. I think with a few minor tweeks to the recipe this will be amazing. Where as it stands now its just ok. BrewDad (5667) - Olympia, Washington, USA - FEB 28, 2013
